We stayed in the Eisenhower house. Four adults retirement age and our three dogs. This place needs new furniture for sure. Living room chair with ottoman has no foam left in seat or arms and you’re sitting on the wooden frame !! So uncomfortable!! Couch cushions sink down 12 inches when you sit down. Kitchen table wood beat up a bit. Kitchen very dark making it difficult to use counters and see what you’re doing while cooking. Bed mattresses just okay. Loved sitting on porch and seeing the lake. Rented pontoon for a few hours and two of us got completely soaked pants from the saturated wet boat cushions. It rained hard all day one day and the gutter by the front door was so blocked with debris that the water poured down in front of the door like a waterfall all day and we got soaked every time we took our dogs out. They don’t cover pontoon boats at all and they get soaked from the weather. They gave us some wood for a fire and that was nice.

Very well maintained property. Clean. Bar on site which was NOT our focus. Could be noisy with lots of people, cars not part of the renters. Made parking difficult esp with boat & trailer. Wanted more fishing experience, which they did provide dock first come first serve. Disappointed. Dogs welcome but not ALL pick up poop!

The cabin fit 7 people and two dogs very comfortably. Love that you can bring your fur babies with no extra charge or security deposit. We stayed in the cottage with a wonderful screen porch and an amazing view of the lake. The Marina bar was right in front of the cottage, which is perfect for a bit of fun. Also, really like that it closes at 11pm. Respectable time for all. We’re definitely going back!! Met the owner, Great Guy!! Thank you Jim!!

Nice property very near beautiful lake. Clean, fairly roomy accommodation. We had a nice time and would certainly consider going back in the future. Later check-in time, and quite early check-out time not guest friendly. They did allow a “later” check out time of 10am. Would have been nicer if bath soap, bath towels had been supplied. But overall was well equipped.

This was a sibling trip. Very cozy and clean house right on the lake. Couch wasn’t super comfy but beds were which is most important. Kitchen nicely stocked. Entire resort is beautifully decorated and has a welcoming vibe.

Overall this property was okay. They had lots of dead plants all over the house but that wasn't a huge deal. Soaps were empty when we arrived and we had to purchase our own. I guess I didn't realize it was right behind a bar so it was a little busier then we'd like during the day. At night there were lots of people sitting right outside our porch area and in the area where our fireplace was. There also was not a designated spot for our boat so guests for the bar could park in our boat spot if we left during the day. Overall the house was nice and updated but the fact that it's so close to a bar and random people can come and go all day is something to consider if you want more privacy.

Fun place next to the local bar. Only complaint we had was the necesity to purchase our own toilet paper, no hand towels for sinks, no dishwasher soap. Over all its a great place just a little cheap on the provided amenities. We ended up making a second run to town to get stuff required to check out.
