Awesome 180° View 5* Reviews Central Location AVAIL June 8!

We were visiting from the US and have found WA to be one of our places to visit in Australia. We have stayed in many wonderful VRBO’s over the years. While this place was a lovely house we did not feel at home. A three ring binder full of rules did not at all constitute a welcome packet. We totally understand the need for rules and guidelines, but being reprimanded for having my 70 sister and husband for dinner did not at all seem like we were having a gathering or party. We felt monitored and watched. It was a big turn off.

Lovely view! Clean self contained house.

House was neat and tidy and the balcony views were breathtaking. All equipment was fully functioni g and easy to use. Overall a must stay location:)

This property exceeded our expectations; clean, comfortable, convenient.The listing and photos truthfully represent the property.Our host was welcoming and helpful.The weather was cold and wet and we spend many hours enjoying the views from the living area of the sky and birdlife.

Beautiful views, but mixed experience overallThe house itself is lovely—spacious, bright, and with truly stunning views. The bathrooms were modern and well-appointed, and the living area was comfortable with reverse cycle air conditioning. However, the bedrooms were very cold during our stay, as there were no heaters provided initially. I contacted Helen, and to her credit, she responded promptly and brought additional heaters.Cleanliness was mostly good, except in the kitchen. On arrival, the dishwasher was running—not with dishes, but with the sponge, scourer, and cloth inside. Helen explained they were being sterilized, though I personally found this method wasteful and would prefer biodegradable replacements. Unfortunately, the cheese toastie maker was greasy and clearly hadn’t been cleaned, and the kitchen drawers had visible dirt and stains.I reached out to Helen to flag these issues, mainly to ensure I wouldn’t be charged for them. She came over, but her approach was unexpectedly confrontational and dismissive. When I pointed out the grime, she wiped it with her sleeve and insisted there was no dirt. She removed the dirty toastie maker and locked it away, but continued to downplay the other concerns. Her attitude felt intimidating, and I ended up agreeing not to pursue the matter further as long as no extra cleaning fees were applied.Overall, the property has great potential, but the kitchen hygiene and host interaction left me feeling uneasy. My sister in law and I loved our stay here! So clean, comfortable and homely, we couldn’t have been happier and would not hesitate to return again. Thanks Helen for being such a great Host.

Excellent location the view spectacular. The house was as good as described. Excellent retail for the ladies in town. Only 4 klms away!!!

This is the nicest property we've rented in WA. Stylish and spacious with a living room overlooking super views. So nicely fitted out, it feels like a treasured home and not like a standard rental property. Were so glad this was the last place we rented for our WA trip, if it had been our first all the other properties would have been very second best. Thanks to the owner for looking after us and being so responsive. That was so nice and reassuring too.Many thanks, Mark and Sue

The property has stunning views, we enjoyed sun, rain and wind & it was fantastic to watch the weather when we weren't out exploring. We found the sofa and the bed to be very comfortable.

The house is beautifully presented and is very clean and modern. Vast amounts of space including a garden and veranda with barbecue on it. Bed comfortable. Good kitchen with everything you need. Very modern bathroom.

We enjoyed a 3 night stay in this property with a fabulous view. The house was very clean, contained everything we needed for a comfortable stay and was conveniently located close to shops, restaurants and the Albany CBD.

This was a very easy place to stay. Comfortable, close to all amenities, nice outlook. Easy to go out from here for the day, and very pleasant to return to.

The house was so cosy and warm even as it rained and the winds were so strong outside. Loved having a full kitchen to prepare our meals

It was a great experience to stay in this place for three nights with my children for holiday in Albany. The location is perfect and it’s easy to drive to the beach, shopping centre, the city of Albany and other places. It’s designed very well, specially the kitchen and dining area. It’s quite area and has a beautiful view. We really enjoyed our holiday and I wished we could stay more. I highly recommend to stay in this beautiful place to enjoy the gorgeous view and relax with a cup of coffee. Thanks Helen for your nice communication to check on us, thanks for your hospitality. We had an incredible time seeing Albany beautiful land, we were thankful to have called this beautiful house our home for our stay. We felt safe and secure, the house was fully equipped to make dinners each night with a stunning outlook to accompany our dining experience.
