Stayed 2 nights with 7 adults and 2 young teenagers.Overall a very nice place to stay in a good location. Not all the details in the website listing are completely accurate which may affect you if you have a large party:Ground floor bedrooms described as 1 King Bed and 2 Single Beds and 2 Single Beds and 1 King Bed but these shoud say or not and as they are alternative configurations of the beds in the rooms. We were supplied with an extra air bed in the Master Bedroom so best to discuss ahead with owner if you are thinking of several people in the same room. First floor bathroom says bath or shower but only had a bath.If you have more than two cars you should be able to park them but may have to juggle getting them in and out individually.

We stayed at the property for a whole family getaway. We needed a property that could sleep two families of 4 and an elder relative with mobility challenges. This place was perfect. Plenty of bedrooms for the families, comfortable social spaces, well equipped kitchen and a completely accessible ground floor (inc shower).Location wise, it was perfectly situated between Oxford and the Cotswolds. Family from the south coast even came to join us for a days outing. The village itself has pubs, coops and takeaways. The host was great. Very accommodating to our needs. Great communication before and during our stay. We’ll likely use the property again in the future.

Really lovely property which was perfect for a family weekend away - 2 adult children, 2 couples and one single adult. Very clean and spacious property with ideal rooms for communal cooking/eating/socialising. Extremely helpful and friendly host. Fantastic pubs and walks nearby. Would thoroughly recommend!

This property is very well-presented, clean, and bathed in natural light. As a family of five adults, the accommodation suited our needs very well and is well located to access Oxford, Blenheim Palace, and the beautiful Cotswolds. The host is highly responsive and attentive to guests' needs, providing local information and recommendations.

Applecross was the base for day trips to Blenheim and Oxford. Excellent base for 5 adults and a lively 6 year old. House is big, obvious quality and architectural / lo-energy interest. Garden was great for sitting and 6 year old running around. Charlbury has most things you need.

Had a great stay, Nick was quick to respond to any queries, was in a quiet location, perfect for our weekend getaway. Only recommendation is to update location on google maps and waze as it takes you to the wrong place.
