Welcome to Avalon I, an AvantStay home! This home was featured on the Emmy award-winning TV show, Staycation!

Our open floorplan is great for entertaining. We hope you’re a fan of dinner parties! Head out to the deck to fire up a feast. If you’re feeling adventurous, Spruce Street Suspension Bridge and its killer views are only a 10-minute drive.

Nearby Attractions: Balboa Park, Seaport Village, San Diego Zoo, Spanish Village Art Center, Little Italy (Italian anyone ), San Diego Seaworld, Gaslamp Quarters (dining/shopping), Waterfront Park, Mission Brewery, Omnia Nightclub, The Morning After (breakfast), Lucha Libre Taco Shop, Biga (Italian), Coronado Golf Course, La Jolla Cove (30 min drive).

Home Truths:
- This home allows pets for a fee. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- Please note: Stairs from the parking area are required to access the home.
- Please note, we do not allow shipping or deliveries of parcels to any of our properties since we do not have access to mailboxes, and cannot guarantee delivery, receipt, or protection of your items at the property.
- Any amplified sound that can be heard within 50 feet away from your residence is prohibited. This home has a noise ordinance time between 10 PM and 8 AM, meaning even a normal conversation must be moved to inside the home during these hours.
- Driveway may be difficult for low-graded vehicles to park. There is limited street parking in the area.
- This home is located in a neighborhood with a strict noise ordinance policy and therefore is only suitable for quieter groups. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting this home, otherwise, if violations occur you may be subject to a fine that can reach up to $10,000.
- Bookings must be made at least 24 hours before check-in. Same-day bookings are not permitted.
- Absolutely no exterior amplified music is allowed. Violations will result in a $500 fine.
- While we do our best to notify guests in advance, unannounced power outages may occur due to unexpected city maintenance.
- No events are allowed unless pre-approved and coordinated through Avantstay. This includes but is not limited to: rehearsal dinners, wedding receptions, birthday parties, and social gatherings.
- All guests must comply with local laws regarding outdoor lighting, quiet hours, and limitations on parties or gatherings.
- Please note that there is a set of 10 stairs from the parking area to the building entrance, followed by an additional 12 stairs to access the unit.
- Please be aware that the home is located on a steep hill if you plan on walking to the property.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 30 days require a security deposit.

We report and prosecute all Credit Card Fraud.

    From our room, we had a nice view of the airport with ocean in the back, and the sunset! Balcony was so relaxing to sit outside in the morning also. Everything was clean and it was located in the great area. Down town, beach areas including La Jolla all of the places we wanted to go was within 20-25 min.

    The condo was beautiful. Close to the airport, the bases and I-5. I did have a few issues. The road up is iffy at best. The parking is tight. the furniture, while beautiful is not very comfortable and the couch is wobbly. The views are really nice and even being close to the airport and highway is still very quiet.

    Such a nice house! The view is AMAZING! Its clean, and theres games/books all around the house to enjoy with family. Theres also an airport infront of the balcony so you get to see * taking off! Very nice!! Will be coming back.

    Enjoyed our stay. Great floor plan with two great bedrooms and baths, a well stocked kitchen, and a great view. Was very quiet. Did have a problem getting in the door. Given 3 different codes to get in and sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn’t. Parking was also a challenge as we did not always have a spot in front of the condo. Had to park down the street.

    It was a great stay in this property. Two couples enjoyed the two bedroom condo with each bedroom having its own full bathroom. The property was very clean, modern, and everything worked well. The location was within 15 miles of most all the main tourist attractions in San Diego that we wanted to see. The view out the back deck was amazing! Once we acclimated to the zig-zag route to get to the condo, we were pleased to find it in a cul-de-sac that made its location more private. We would highly recommend this property!
