Aunt Anne's Cottage - Historic Victorian in the Heart of Cape May

This home is just beautiful, perfect location , house was just as described and even better ! Walk to everything , the host was fantastic and responded quickly to questions . You will love this house , we sure did !!!

House was just perfect for our family reunion weekend - we were 13 adults and a toddler - plenty of communal space and bedrooms worked out greatEasy walking distance to town and beachthe host warns that the third floor stairs are steep - and they are plenty of pillows and blankets and great size refrigerator!

Spacious home in a perfect location! Our group was comfortable in this beautifully decorated home. The bedrooms were plentiful and pleasant. The location is a block from the beach and two blocks from the town square.

Large house with everything you need for a great stay. Beds were really comfortable, front porch is a gem and the owner was super responsive when we had an issue. Location is perfect - short block and a half to the ocean and a 5 minute walk to the shops.,

We traveled to Cape May for a family wedding and this historic property with a great location was perfect for us!

Beautiful home, couldn’t ask for a better location.

Our stay was just perfect. We were celebrating my 70th birthday with my three kids and their spouses and my husband. The house was so clean, huge and anything you meeded in the kitchen was there. I never stayed in a rental unit that literally offered you every possible appliance, enough dishes, glasses, mugs, flatware for a minimum of 24 people. They also had a ton of games, puzzles, beach chairs, beach towels so many things that you could use. We had great weather, so didn’t really need the games for rainy days.The location was perfect. An easy walk to the beach, Washington Square mall and many other places. The screened in front porch was the best. We spent mornings here having coffee evenings, chatting, having cocktails. The weather was beautiful so we were not in the house most of the days. We also loved the history the house has. My kids and their spouses loved the place. I would highly recommend it for anyone. There are no bedrooms on the first floor so if you have any major issues with stairs the place may not be for you. I had no issues with them and the place was just so nice we will definitely be back. The host was extremely responsive always getting back to me in a very short period. I cannot say enough about this place and our time there other than you just need to check it out!

Checked all boxes. 1884 home w/ the character & charm Victorian architecture & workmanship brings, beginning w/ great airflow making available AC un-needed on the main level. Great old windows that all seemed to open and close w/o difficulty, storm windows that glide easily, making me jealous, having sticky ones @ home. Appreciated room by room AC (not window units) in 2nd floor BRs. Can’t speak to the unused (for us) 3rd floor. Lots of spots to gather or to be alone. Huge dining table. More space in breakfast room. Comfortable family space in the parlor. First impression worried me about the tv size but works well in the space. Cable if you want or most streaming apps through smart Vizio TV. CD player & bookshelf stereo—couldn’t figure out how to pipe TV sound through stereo speakers which would have been nice. Lovely porches & balcony spaces. Enough wicker to handle 10 on the screened side porch. Hedges give some privacy when overhearing passersbys chatting—a favorite CM activity. House is super well appointed. Games, toys, books, child care items, blankets, beach towels. Every kitchen gadget wanted was found in one or other of the drawers—even an instant thermometer. More pots and pans—numbers & variety—than most will need. Two full size refrigerators. Dedicated ice maker in separate bar area. Plentiful parking. 3 minutes walk to the beach or the mall.

Had a great time and great location

We were a group of 8 people who have known each other for over 30 years. The house had everything we needed to be comfortable. Only a few comments: Bringing sheets and towels is a real pain in the neck. Making and unmaking beds is time consuming and unexpected when staying at a relatively expensive place. The bathrooms had slippery floors and showers. Floor mats and shower mats would be helpful for people in our age range. Otherwise, we enjoyed our trip!!

The house comfortably accommodated 11 adults! The outdoor, screened in porch, provided a great location to congregate and enjoy the breeze. The kitchen has been recently remodeled and accommodated the various food storage for our group.

Great location in downtown historic Cape May. House fits right into the Victorian feel of the town! Very well kept and spacious.

We had a lovely stay at this house! Had a little confusion on the number and size of the beds according to the listing, so I would have just asked more about the bedding and read that message more carefully before going!

The house is perfect for a family get together. The location is close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. Our family would highly recommend renting this home. It is a gem.

Stayed in Aunt Annie's Cottage for 3 Days on a girls trip to Cape May. Perfect location. One block to the beach one block to shops and restaurants.

The house was great! Nice and Clean! It was in walking distance to the beach and Washington street shops!

Amazing house with more than enough room for four families. Great location too! The house had everything we needed. We will be back!
