Great host and location comfortable three bedroom

The house was well-appointed with everything you need, and floorplan was perfect for our extended-family stay. In fact, I said to my husband that if we ever build a house, this is the floorplan I would choose! :) Marie-France was an attentive and helpful host. We appreciated that all the bedrooms had their own bath and that the neighbourhood felt very safe allowing us to sleep with the windows open.

Three friends and our husbands enjoyed our stay at Auberge Kicking Horse Guest House for three nights. Each couple was happy to have their own bedroom and bathroom, and the kitchen was well appointed with lots of dishes, pots, pans, spices and other amenities. We came in late July and were wishing for air conditioning one night, but the other nights were pleasant with the windows open. It is a quiet neighborhood, and the beds and living room furniture were quite comfortable. The host was very cordial and accommodating.

The owner was tremendous. She greeted us in the driveway and showed us some of the functions of the property. The house itself was great in that each bedroom had an attached full bathroom. The living room was large with an attached dining area. The kitchen was also large with seating at the island and plenty of cookware and dishes to accommodate guests. The hot tub looked clean (we chose not to use it, or the fire pit, due to a large contingent of mosquitos in the area). Golden was the center of the places we wanted to see and hike-Glacier, Yoho and Banff/Lake Louise/Moraine Lake. The town had a couple of decent restaurants and a brewery that served a delicious verity of beers. We cannot say enough good things about our stay at Auberge and our host, Marie.

Travelled to Golden for bike trip. Location and property were great and communication with property owner couldn't have been better. Will be returning in the future. Would recommend.

Two adult friends and I stayed here and enjoyed the three separate bedrooms with bathrooms attached. The hot tub was great as well.

Pros- lots of room, each room has it's own bathroom, great hot-tub, and owner is very easy to get ahold of.Cons- not much privacy (owner lives downstairs and you can hear most conversations)not really walking distance to downtown, decent hill with no sidewalksnot very clean, mold growing in coffee pot and some hair in bathrooms

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Auberge Kicking Horse. We are 4 old friends in our early 70's and try to travel together once a year. Loved having a large and well-stocked kitchen. Living space was very comfortable and 3 en-suite baths were great. We took full advantage of the hot tub on the deck, right off the living room. Quiet setting. Host was very communicative both in advance and during our visit. Would definitely return.

The home was well equipped for the 5 of us (3 adult children), especially with each bedroom having its own bathroom. The neighborhood is quiet and Marie-France was available to answer any needs or questions. We explored Jasper, Banff and Yoho Nat’l parks while based here. We’d love to come back during cooler weather to enjoy the hot tub. It seems we brought a heat wave with us ?

We had a lovely stay in Golden! Great location, comfy beds and host was very kind and easy to communicate with. Would for sure stay again.!
