Atlantic Watergate townhome steps from the beach, oceanfront balconies

This was the perfect beach house for a family wanting easy (and immediate) access to the beach, views during toddler nap time, a stocked kitchen, and proximity to restaurants and Bethany's boardwalk. It was perfect for our family of 3 and very toddler friendly (we have a 2.5 year old). You could not be closer to the beach and could hear the waves from the living room. The beach was pristine and relaxed--perfect pace for anyone wanting a relaxing vacation at the beach.

Location was exceptional!

We really enjoyed our stay and are sad that this unit is for sale. Who knows if the new owners will be renting it or not? It was sparkling clean, although it's a little shabby (or well-loved, depending on your point of view). Kitchen is very well stocked. Most of all, you can't beat the view from the balconies. One small note: there is no convenient place in the carport for recharging an electric vehicle. There is a GFI outlet, but it does not work.

The location of this home is the best! It’s so easy to walk out to the beach and come back as needed. Having adequate bath towels and linens provided also made packing so much easier. There was plenty of space for our family and we had a great trip!

Shiplap paneling abounds, bare wood floors—all expected when your backyard is an ocean. Love the leisurely Adirondack chairs out back and front, and a screened in porch extends the living space out back and outdoor dining table and chairs out front for the afternoon sun. Beds are comfy, easy accommodation for larger groups, storage galore in bathrooms, kitchen stocked like someone lives there. It’s not plush luxury, but it’s def comfy with enough space for everyone. Laundry on- site a plus—again, a little rustic in an outdoor access with older appliances, but remember that ocean in your backyard. Appears the door-code set to work not a minute before 4pm check-in—even when we got an email indicating it was ready early. If you do intend to arrive before 4pm, prob shd talk to someone to be sure. Would def stay again.

We have been in larger more well appointed homes over our 35 years of renting at the beach…but loved this one the most! The location is perfect for fisherman and families who tolerate them lol! The proximity of the beach and number of decks and porches is superb! The neighborhood is so family friendly. Most importantly, the Host was accommodating, accessible and friendly! Hope to rent here again next year. The only negative that you should be prepared for is that you need to go outside to the laundry in a shed type structure under the car port.
