Assateague Pointe 2 br/1 ba 2 outdoor pools -in WOC.

Dirty, black mold in kitchen cabinet, the black mold was even on our welcome book. Only refunded a 100, this home was not worth the stay. Tv kept disconnecting from the wifi, wifi also wasn’t offered to guest that was our fault for not realizing that. That being said we never stayed in a house in this community that didn’t offer wifi to the guest & we’ve been staying in the community for over 10 years. Worst house we’ve stayed in.

We had a wonderful stay! The cottage was close to many activities and had beautiful views! The beds we very comfortable. The house was a little outdated and could use a deep cleaning but we still enjoyed our week. Plenty enough room for everyone and a nice patio for family meals.We would have liked a few more TV options (not many channels) but honestly we kept so busy we didn't have much time left for TV anyway.

Loved the proximity to assateague island

We booked our stay with much excitement knowing the community well since my wife’s brother has owned a house nearby for over twenty years. We traveled from South Carolina to spend time with family. What we found in the house she be an embarrassment to the owner and the management company. The home was in one word filthy! The vents to the HVAC system were dirt and dust covered. They have NOT been cleaned in months if ever. The ceiling fans were covered in dust and there were cobwebs over the slider in the living room area. The toilet wobbled on the floor in the bathroom giving the impression that it would fall over. The vanity light in the bathroom had only ONE working bulb. The drawer containing the eating utensils was filled with dirt and crumbs. We ended up covering the sofa and chair in the living room with extra sheets we had brought due to the condition of them. This is just a BRIEF overveiw of what we dealt with last week. We also left on Friday instead of Saturday. In short we felt we could not prepare meals in the the rental due to the condition which forced us to spend money eating out instead. I took some pictures of some of the glaring items and will forward them on as well. Whoever is cleaning this unit CLEARY IS NOT. And in such times as we now live walking through the house with a can of Lysol doesn’t get it done. Might I suggest Stanley Steemer carpet and furniture cleaning as well.

Property was great, view was amazing, convenient location and such nice people in Assateague Pointe. We had a really nice stay and made some great memories.
