If you want to feel like you are on top of the world, stay here. The location can't be beat. You look out the kitchen window, and see amazing views of the mountains, but you also have all of the modern conveniences you would want. A kitchen that any chef would want to cook in (not to mention top of the line pots and pans, cookware, and bakeware). You only have to go to the grocery store once, because there is just that much room in the Viking refrigerator and pantry. For entertainment, you have a pool table inside, and a swimming pool outside. There are also multiple giant TVs that have access to Netflix, HBOMax, DisneyPlus, etc.; you just have to sign in. There was plenty of room inside the house, and outside on the decks to spread out and it accommodated our group of eleven easily. This may become our new go to place for our annual family summer getaway. Although we may have to think about a fall trip, because the view with the changing leaves would be spectacular!
When we arrived everyone was excited about the big open space. We quickly discovered the cooling system wasn’t working properly and it was over 80 degrees in the home. We had to move everyone to the downstairs to be able to sleep. We notified the owner and they said they had canceled a service call that day for whatever reason realizing there was some kind of an issue before we even arrived. We done everything we could think of to see if we could get things working better before we even noticed the owner. We were then responsible for working with the first technician who arrived on Mondayand 2nd tech on Friday . He didn’t know what he was doing. We notified the owner again but was blaming the issues on the “weather”. We purchased fans , closed all curtains that were on windows. And had all the ceiling fans runnin just to create some kind of breeze. The owner was finally able to get a real heating and cooling technician out on Friday the day before we had to leave. He quickly discovered several issues and it wasn’t bc of the “weather”. Since we spent 95% of the time at the home we had to deal with the heat all the time. We replaced/purchased filters in the home that were disgusting and cleaned filters as well. We were able to enjoy the pool on the property. The only thing we had to cool off! We enjoyed the view outside. The space of the home was perfect for our family of 12. If the cooling system would have been working properly we would have had a good experience. We realized it takes time to get a technician as a last minute but was hoping the owner would have been more urgent in helping the situation. Hopefully they will remedy the issue and any future visitors will enjoy their visit plus the view!
We have been renting homes for many years for family vacations and without a doubt, this is the best we’ve ever rented! This beautiful home is equipped with everything needed for a worry-free, relaxing stay, and the mountain views from all parts of the home are spectacular. The hosts went out of their way to ensure our comfort and enjoyment, offering tips regarding recreation and shopping at many nearby venues. The white-water rafting and trout fishing adventures were two of the many highlights of our trip. If you are looking for an awesome vacation home in a serene setting close to many exciting things to do, with friendly, responsive hosts, this is definitely your place!
