About this space
Escape to the beautiful mountains of Central VA this summer or plan your fall trip now. Relax, hike, or explore the famous Nelson 151 trail all from the centrally located Ash Tree Cottage. The home can sleep five comfortably and seven with an air mattress. Multiple wineries, restaurants, hikes, breweries, and cideries await you. After a day out exploring come home where you can relax inside or enjoy the dining area in the deck or the covered outdoor seating area with gas fireplace.
The space
This home has a beautiful, well-appointed kitchen with dining area perfect for eating or playing games with friends/family. The living room is very cozy and comfortable. On one side off of the living room is the queen and twin bedroom with an attached full bath. On the other side off of the living room is the king bedroom with a desk and chair for remote work. This room also includes an attached full bath. A laundry room is also available for guest use.

The description noted an EV charger but there is not one. The host refunded me for the mistake. The property is remote from the ski resort.

visited area for a wedding at Veritas vineyard. perfect location. cute cottage with everything you need for a weekend (or longer) stay. very comfortable and clean.

The location was great for visiting the nearby wineries. The only complaint I have is about the television. Since we are non-streaming television viewers, the selection of what we could watch was extremely limited. We would prefer to be able to watch local news and sports.

The pictures do not do this place justice. Its a lot nicer than they lead on! Perfectly located near the VA wine and beer trail. Surrounded by trees. We'll be back when its warmer to emjoy the outdoor spaces the property offers.

The Ash Cottage is exactly as it was pictured and described. It was a fair price and perfect for 2 couples, close to wineries and other things to do. Would definitely recommend this place!
