Our family of 7 came for a few days of skiing at Okemo. The house was well situated and very quiet. There are obvious recent upgrades such as stove and microwave, and washer and dryer. The windows are airtight and heater worked great. We appreciated all the hooks in the bathrooms. I did not realize till long after I booked that even though the house was listed as having 2 bathrooms, it actually also said much further down in the listing that it was only 1 1/2 bathrooms. I probably would not have decided on this property if I made the realization sooner. One shower was not enough for 7people. The listing should state clearly at the beginning that it is only 1 and 1/2 bathrooms. The owner was very responsive to an issue regarding missing cookware. The 2 primary beds were comfortable enough but the lower bunk beds were not comfortable for the teenagers. They also had issues getting to the top bunks because of how the walls are sloped. My suggestions would be to upgrade cookware and cooking utensils and to either repair or replace the broken chair in the living room. Also we feel it’s a safety issue not having a hand rail on the stairs.

We arrived to a kitchen floor with bits of corn and ants. The fridge was not particularly clean. My family spent two hours cleaning the place, but when we pulled back the sheets on one of the beds there were dead bugs between the sheets. So we left. We contacted the owner who manages from afar. They were bristly and unhelpful. We did not stay even one night, but were refused any kind of refund. This was our worst VRBO experience. It was a lot of money to loose, but I'd rather loose money than potentially bring home bed bugs.

My family and I loved being right on Lake Rescue! We enjoyed the kayaks and canoe that were provided. We were able to fish and see the resident eagles! Very peaceful and relaxing.

We loved our stay at the lake house, very easy to get to and very convenient to Okemo. The kitchen was stocked with spices, pots, pans, etc - easy to cook in and the house is very close to the ludlow restaurants. It's on the way to the Sugar house which has the best Maple Creamies. The home was very clean and we loved the different sitting areas, a lot room to hang out to watch a movie or play games (which the house has). The children loved playing in the snow in the backyard; much better than being on devices. It snowed overnight and we had a few days of beautiful skiing/snowboarding. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This house was just perfect for a ski weekend at Okemo. It's on a tiny road but directions provided were easy to follow. The living area was comfortable and cozy and the fireplace was lovely. Bathrooms were updated- and the upstairs bath had plenty of hooks for towels etc. Games in the living room were a nice touch. The kids loved the pair of bunk beds. Location was a super easy drive from Okemo- close enough to run back when we realized we forgot something. I would absolutely stay here again. We were a family of 4 and had lots of room to spread out. One thing to note- there wasn't really a railing on the stairs. It's fine for adults and bigger kids, but something to be aware of if you have small children or adults who have a hard time on stairs.

We stayed at the lovely lake house between Christmas and New Year’s as a base for a family ski trip to Okemo resort. The location was perfect for us and very picturesque in the snow. The house was warm and well appointed. For a family of 5, there was plenty of room and we found it to be as described. The journey to the Okemo base area was about 5-10mins, depending on which base you used. Ludlow had lots or restaurants and a well stocked grocery store. We found everything we needed within a 10min drive.Grainne was a great host. Communication was very straightforward and quick. Would recommend for a trip to the Ludlow area.

Well kept, lovely house with great amenities and excellent communication from owners. It can be a bit noisy given the proximity to Route 100, but that's a minor issue. The house is very comfortable.

My 4 adult children and I spent a long weekend at this vacation spot. The house was great for our size group. There is a lovely deck overlooking the back yard and small beachfront area. The beach is shallow and weedy so not good for swimming, but perfect for launching the canoe and kayaks included in the rental price. We found a sandy bottomed, deep area by one of the islands where we spent our days swimming. We enjoyed evenings by the outdoor fire pit at the beach front, with surprisingly very few insects to bother us. I would happily recommend this place.
