Couldnt find the drive way cause of all the leaves. Even messaged about it thinking since they are a big vacation rental place up there with alot of houses they send someone to blow the leaves out...nope They also email saying i needed to bring toliet paper, my own towels, handsoap, etc. I message to confirm this and they said i did need to bring all that ...it was all there they lied to me Wouldnt use the big soaker tub the jets looked absolutely gross, both stand up showers tiles has moldy slime on the tiles! Pretty home but after paying,in my opinion, a costly host and cleaning fees for only two days.. i definitely wouldnt pay to stay here again
We had a girls weekend and the home did not disappoint! So much to do and enjoy (fireplace, games, hot tub, etc.). The house was clean. Communications were clear throughout the process. Everything was as described. This home set the bar high for future trips!
What an amazing house and property! This home had plenty of space for 5 adult couples. Well thought out spaces, and beautifully decorated to boot. So many different opportunities for fun from the fire pit outside, to the huge hot tub, inside with an entertaining bar and game room for plenty, leading upstairs to a swanky fire side living area overlooking a large deck & great water views, or hang out in the grand kitchen space. With seating for 14+. The kitchen was well stocked with most everything you could need, bed linens and towels provided. Just bring extra beach towels, trash bags, hand soap, and toilet paper for your extended stay and you’re golden??
Pros: - lots of space! We had 11 adults and there was plenty of room. Of note, 6 adults had to share one bathroom on the top floor. If we stayed longer than a week, it probably would’ve been a bit challenging! - plenty to do just in the house! The shuffleboard, pool table, and hot tub were used a lot! It was great with it being the fall and cooler weather and wanting to do things inside! - Access to the dock was nice - View of the lake was pretty Cons: - No hand soap! Only one trash bag, no extra! While given notice that they wouldn’t be supplying hand soap or additional trash bags, it’s a disgrace to have your guests bring such items (hand soap, trash bags, toilet paper) especially when paying over 700$/night. This is a rental property from an agency that has over 450 homes in the area. It would seem that they could manage to supply hand soap and trash bags to their guests. - One of the two trash cans at the end of the drive was completely full and couldn’t be used - Some items in the home were stained (comforters, chair cushions) and appeared dirty and used
