Art Deco Beach Bungalows, Only 1 Block to Hollywood Beach

I have stayed in many hotels, rentals, whatever you want to call it.. AND I HAVE NEVER experienced such a disgusting place in my life. Clogged shower drain to the point I was standing in mucky water to my ankles, poop marks in the toilet bowl from previous guests, moldy and mildew on sink faucet and shower heads, and not to mention DIRTY beds that had hair from previous people and BED BUGS. Found 5 bed bugs on just 1 bed, on my DAUGHTER. On the first night, having to leave at 2 in the morning with bite marks and itchy. To top it off, I’m the rush of packing and leaving, we left an iPhone charger and pair of AirPods (that we can track to the location RIGHT NOW and they’re definitely there) and they claim they were not found. I have never experienced this before anywhere and strongly encourage NOBODY to stay here, let this be your sign. This place is a disgusting disgrace and deserves to be shut down immediately!!!!

This is a great location for Hollywood Beach as it's at the end of the main boardwalk so it's not as loud but still very close to the action. Unit was very clean provided everything we needed for a short three night stay even provided beach chairs which is a major plus for me. Would definitely stay again

However, several different factors need to be addressed to make this vacation rental more enjoyable. First and foremost the location was perfect. This location is just a short walk from the beach, restaurants, and shopping. There was a small bar in the hotel next door that was also accessible to us. The unit also included some beach towels, beach chairs, and a beach umbrella. All of this came in handy under the warm Florida sun. The unit itself needs a lot of work. The shower door and bathroom door in room 3 does not work. Family joined us on this vacation and this made it a little uncomfortable. The unit has paint scuffs on the ceiling in unit 3 and walls in unit 4. There was also a strong cigar smell upon arrival that didn’t start to go away until the second day we were there. The unit also did not include enough towels or toilet paper. We contacted Turnkey and they sent someone over to bring us more. One of our biggest concerns was the bug problem in the room. We saw several ants, some mosquitoes, and one tick. We woke up with several bug bites and had to use a mosquito net to keep the bugs from getting to our baby. We contacted turnkey several times and none of these concerns were resolved. In summary, this unit is affordable and somewhat comfortable. The concerns are tolerable considering the location and price point. I would recommend hiring a pest control service because the bug problem was not acceptable. Other than that don’t expect a resort at this price point.

Reviewer Comments: Hollywood Fl is an interesting place and a great mix of both family and party goers. Location is just a 1 minute walk to beach and a very good coffee place. It was unfortunate that a/c was not adequate (which they didn't fix until we checked out) and we lost internet several times. Additionally, we got locked out of the place twice due to locks not working (our 2nd to last night they replaced the lock). But service was slow because everyone was on vacation for memorial day - just like us, which was not great thinking on turnkey's part.

We loved our stay at the Beach Bungalows! They were in a great location right next to the beach, boardwalk, and the Taco Spot. We enjoyed the patio around back and loved that they supplied beach chairs and towels for us. The place was clean and had everything we needed. When we had a couple questions for the property manager they were friendly and answered us promptly. We will definitely recommend this to family/friends.
