This house was designed with a breezeway connecting 2 very different units. The entire house has been under a vast remodel that took a year and a half to complete. Nothing was spared in the remodel to give guests a one of a kind experience. In order to give an accurate description of the property the main house located on the right side hosts a full kitchen with new granite counter tops, all new appliances, a kuerig, toaster, and an eat in dining space. Also included are dishes, silverware, pots, pans, and glassware for your convenience. The main house on the right side also boasts a card/bumper pool table, a jacuzzi tub, a balcony overlooking the wilderness, washer/dryer, a fireplace, and a large wrap around porch with furniture and a fire pit. There are two full bedrooms with two queen beds on the main house right side as well as a leather futon located above the shower of the master bathroom, with two large sectional sofas providing more sleeping space if needed. The main house has two full bathrooms with the master having both a jacuzzi tub and a separate shower. The other bathroom is located in the first floor bedroom and has a shower stall. Also included is a propane grill and patio furniture for your enjoyment.
The unit on the left we call the Chalet can accommodate up to seven people comfortably with three separate rooms. One having a queen bed with a leather sofa, another with a king bed, and two twin beds located on the third floor with a pull down ladder(great spot for the kids). The Chalet has one full bathroom and a small kitchenette with new appliances and an eating area. Other amenities include a kuerig, microwave, toaster, glassware, dishes, and silverware. Located on the second floor of the Chalet, with a calming view of the forest, enjoy catching up on your favorite book in the loft above the kitchenette.
Extra amenities for the entire property include satellite tv, starlink satellite internet, city water, ductless heat and air conditioning, smoke alarms, carbon monoxide alarms, and a gated entrance.
Guests may encounter wildlife from time to time. Please be careful in and around the property. This house is surrounded by a forest with complete privacy, wildlife will find its way around the property so please respect the animals and be aware of your surroundings.

Property was perfect for our guys weekend! Highly recommend this place to stay
Perfect space and setting for a 40th birthday celebration!! Close to where we went white water rafting and beautiful outdoor set up to hang out at after!
We were five dudes, all with wives and kids at home, that know each other through F3, and with the wisdom of the Q-source, decided to be intentional about locking shields through the 3Ps. We stayed 3 nights—rafted, worked out, cooked and ate, and shared about our lives. Property was great for all this, with big common space, comfortable sleeping, a well outfitted kitchen, fire pit, and great grounds. Jay was a really good host anytime we had a question, and the weekend was one none of us will soon forget!
Wonderful owner and great location. Some unusual aspects of the house are ones to just be ready for: heaters in each room pre-set that cannot be changed, spaces that are somewhat difficult to get to for small children sleeping arrangements (e.g. ladders to the third floor), and some patience needed with the kitchen (e.g. oven has a sizable gap when closed that delays cooking times).
What a fun place to stay! The house is so charming and unique. Definitely was a home away from home feel. The property is very well taken care of, very clean. The kitchen is very well equipped. Hoping to rebook for next year. Check in and check out was very easy. Book with confidence.
The region was hit by really bad weather, power outages, extremely cold weather and snow. The host and I were texting and calling back and forth as the weather deteriorated. He was extremely nice, responsive, and accommodating. Because of infrastructural widespread failures outside of our control, we ultimately had to cancel the reservation. He could not have been nicer. He even had proactively made alternate arrangements for our large family group at another location accessible through the weather in the event we had already begun our trip. We cannot wait to stay at this amazing house. We were in it a few months prior to our reservation and it is a beautiful, clean, large, and fun house to stay in. There are great common areas and also places to escape the chaos that comes with larger family gatherings. It is such a unique place!
10/10 Would stay again. Thank you Jay!
Nice house set in the woods with plenty of parking. Great host to work with - very responsive to anything we asked about.
Experience was great. Everything was clean, there were many places to sleep, and the AC worked well. Property was beautiful. Property owner was nice, responded quickly and communicated very effectively.
Architect's Dream is truly a unique property. We had numerous discussions, during our 4 night stay, trying to figure out how it was pieced together. It is ideally located in the middle of the woods, close to Fallingwater and the town of Ohiopyle. Our group consisted of 7 adults and 5 children ranging in ages from 9 to 74. There are 4 separate bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms had private baths and 2 had to share one. The sleeping arrangements worked fine since we had 5 kids. If we were 12 adults, it might have been challenging. Jay, the owner, was easy to work with. He was extremely responsive to all my inquiries. He literally responded within minutes to all my questions. I would highly recommend this place for larger groups and I would definitely stay here again.
The owner was great and so easy to work with. The home was huge and very unique on property with a trail. Unfortunately, our weather didn’t allow us to explore the trail. The homes are basically two separate building connected with an upper breezeway. I actually had to walk the house a few times in order to remember where each of the rooms was located! There are 3 bedrooms that are private and two other bedrooms that share a more open space. So there are lots of sleeping choices. There is a large kitchen with a dining area plus another table that is suited well for a gaming table. In the other section of the house, there is a smaller kitchen. I would say the only con are two of the 3 bathrooms are small and you must go through the bedrooms to get to them. The third bathroom is large but the toilet room does not have a door. Overall, I’d recommend this place.
Great spot with unique architecture. Would recommend for anyone traveling to the area with a large group
We stayed at this house for a Frank Lloyd Wright-themed trip to southwestern Pennsylvania. For our purposes, the property was ideally located - between Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob, and a short drive away from Polymath Park, all of which are worth a visit. It is also down the road from Christian Klay winery, which made for a fun afternoon excursion. The house is situated in the middle of a beautiful wooded property, which was great for walking our dogs. We spotted hawks and wild turkeys during our stay. The property manager was quick to respond to our questions, and the house was well stocked with paper products and nice linens. The house is described as being inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright, but Salvador Dali may also have been an influence. For a group with architecture on our minds, it made for interesting conversation starters, such as Why is there an interior window with a view of the laundry room? , Why is there a loft with a couch in the master bathroom?, and Is that a usable kayak on the living room wall? From a practical standpoint, the house has a lot of room to spread out. There are quite a few interior steps, so it may not be the most appropriate rental for those with toddlers or older family members. I could see elementary school-aged kids having a ton of fun playing hide-and-seek in this house, though. Also, be aware that there is one decent-sized bathroom, and that the other two bathrooms are quite small. Finally, while there were some wonderful porch swings surrounding a fire pit, the house would benefit from additional outdoor furniture, as there was only one picnic table at which to eat outside.
The location and property were exactly what we wanted and expected. The house layout is very different and interesting. We did enjoy our weekend getaway with our grown up family. The 7 hour power outage was an inconvenience but, nobodies fault. Jay did come to help with generator issues. We had a pleasant weekend.
Super fun house to visit. The owner was super helpful and quick to answer a call to help us out.
