Architect Designed Ocean View Home

It was an outstanding stay and an exceptional property. All aspects were truly wonderful, the view, the cleanliness, the amenities, the hosts and all the little details. The house is unique and enjoyable with great views and an interesting layout that offered nice areas to relax, eat and sleep. It all felt very comfortable and welcoming with just the right amount of “home” feeling to help you relax. The views were exquisite, not to mention the occasional visit from beautiful deer as they wander along the property. It’s just a short drive from places to eat, buy food and do things like golf or a local movie theatre. The amenities make it so you can cook anything if you wish and do laundry. The rooms are comfortable and the washrooms clean and new. Lastly the hosts are great. There too great you and help you get settled in if you need it, there to assist should you wish it but otherwise you wouldn’t know they’re there! Our whole family had an excellent time. The house has a great layout and well appointed kitchen. There are plenty of supplies, and we appreciated that coffee and tea were provided.

A wonderful stay celebrating a milestone birthday with good friends- the property is amazing, well appointed and comfortable. Hosts have considered everything. We will definitely plan to return!

Stayed over the May long weekend. The Hosts were wonderful and accommodating. The communication with the hosts during our stay was easy and they responded quickly to any of our questions. The check-in/check-out process is great.The house is really lovely. It is a good size and It has all the kitchen items you need to make meals. The beds are comfy and the loft bed is pretty cool! There is a great view from the balcony on a sunny day. It is in a very quiet area, great for peaceful getaways. I would absolutely stay here again, next time I visit Salt Spring.

This house was fabulous. A beautiful view of the ocean and Vancouver island from the house and deck. Everything was super clean and in good shape. Two newly remodeled bathrooms were absolutely stunning. The kitchen had everything we needed and we cooked most all our meals there. On our visit we were two couples and the house is nicely set up for that. The deck had lots of comfortable chairs and two tables. We hiked down to the ocean from the house as well as lots of island hikes. The hosts were super nice and responsive. Every window in the house was sparkling clean. Quick drive into town. I would plan to come back for sure.

Totally ideal for a family holiday.. near the beach near Ganges

This was our first VRBO. We normally stay at hotels/resorts. Our experience with this rental was wonderful. Perfect for a relaxing time on Salt Spring Island. The house has a million dollar view and takes full advantage of it from almost every room. Add to that a large deck to enjoy a morning read with coffee or a before dinner glass of wine. This house surpassed our expectations and made a visit to Salt Spring Island one of our best times.
