Arbuckle Lake House. Sleep 7+. Great deck for outdoor enjoyment.

Nice lake house. Had everything we needed. Peaceful with a beautiful view. Easy no communication needed for check in or out. Super convenient. Even gave us a bottle of wine. We enjoyed our relaxing, peaceful time for sure.

The house has a wonderful view of the lake and accomodates a group comfortably. The property is rustic and dated, but comfortable and clean. Utensils and other necessities are provided which was a plus! The beds are older and id suggest bringing your own pillows. 4 rocking chairs on the upstairs deck make watching the sunset a lovely experience! The host is easy to contact and was helpful whenever we needed him. The area is super close to the cultural center and walmart for activities and necessities.

The heater does not work on the guest bedroom. It shoots cold air while heater is on 80. Other than that its very nice for the price you pay.

The view was BREATHTAKING, the property was spacious, the house is a little bit older but it was nice and cozy and everything was in good working condition. The only downside is that there is no WIFI, which comes in handy if just want to relax and stream a movie. They did have cable TV but the signal wasn’t the best. Overall, we had an AMAZING time as a family!

The house is gorgeous and the views are breathtaking. The furnishings could use an update but overall the place is homey.

I would recommend this cabin to anyone. Clean beautiful view. Close to both town and swimming area at the lake. Everything we needed was right there. The house was fully furnished and had plenty of space for all 5 of us.

The view from the double balconies were spectacular. Host was awesome! Price was great! New floors on main floor are beautiful. Clean and comfortable furniture on decks. Very nice to have dish soap, appliances, w/d & detergent, paper goods,cleaning materials, etc. provided. This is an older (but not old) lakehouse but there was such a comfortable & relaxing feel to it. I would definitely return depending on who/how many in my party. The King size pull out futon in the living room would probably be okay for kids or maybe a very petite adult but not an average size adult. Sleeper sofa was great! We cooked 2 meals. Had to improvise a bit when cooking scrambled eggs as the skillets and all but one of the sauce pots really needed to be tossed. Plenty of good bakeware. Cleaners could have done a bit better but towels and sheets were all clean and plentiful. We enjoyed our stay!

The house needsp major updating. The downstairs bathroom has a tiny shower that basically is kids size. The upstairs bathroom there is a cabinet over the shower that takes up your head room. I am 6'4 i couldn't stand up in the shower. Carpets upstairs is old and smells old. The beds was old and not comfortable at all. The pull out couch is a joke. My son said he could get any sleep on it. All of the furniture looks as if it was bought at a garage sale. Its has some what of a nice view from the decks. It isn't a lake house. But has a view of a lake. We was only there to go to Turner Falls for the weekend. So we didn't spend much time at the house. If someone planned to actually use the home as a vacation rental they will be very disappointed. I would not ever stay here again.

amazing view wonderfully serene environment

Property was comfortable. We enjoyed scrabble. The view was amazing. My only complaint is our bath towels were put up wet and smelled terrible when we took a shower. I would bring your own towels. Other than that it was great !

The lake view is worth it alone. It’s breathtaking. There are plenty of things to do and would be a fun place for a group of people. It was great as a couples weekend getaway also!

Everything was great! There was plenty of parking. They do not have enough towels for everyone, but other than that, everything was great! The views are amazing!

Was a really fun mini friend union trip with my childhood friend and both our familys....loved being unplugged! The kids actually participated in our activities....10/10 booking.

This property has pluses and minuses.Google maps takes you to the wrong house, but the host was kind enough to stay on the phone with me and guide me to the property.It is clean and a great value. It’s semi secluded, quiet and there is an incredible view. There’s no wifi, but I found that refreshing. In my mind, the reason to go there is enjoy nature.It’s off the beaten path, but still close enough to antique and boutique shopping, cultural centers and businesses, great local restaurants and beautiful places to hike. The cabin is clean, but definitely lacks proper housekeeping (empty cigarette boxes and butts in the chiminea and pottery on the front porch, wet laundry in the washer, it lacks proper kitchen utensils, several of the light bulbs were out and it takes the coffeemaker 40 minutes to make a pot of coffee).Besides a Queen and King bed, the website says it has two futons. Instead of futons, there was a comfortable chase lounge and two couches, one of which is a fold out.All in all it was a great trip and we had a a wonderful time.

Everything came together and made the entire stay perfect!

Charming cozy house

Beautiful place with so much scenery just off the back decks. Room temperature was great, the ceiling fans helped keep it cool. Kitchen is functional for 1 to 2 people, I enjoyed cooking with my son. My grandson loved the upstairs and especially the opening into the dining room. It was a very pleasant stay and was able to relax and enjoy my family

Stayed while working and it was just what we needed.

We all enjoyed our little getaway here! The sunsets were incredible, and the morning view of the lake was breathtaking. The kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms were well-stocked with more than we could’ve even asked for. The entire house was exactly as listed; no surprises here! While a little dated, it was cozy and reminded us all of childhood trips to grandma and grandpa’s house.This was the chance we all needed to be unplugged and get away from life for a couple days after midterms. We couldn’t imagine having stayed anywhere else!

Great value, the family really enjoyed the place that fit all our needs!

Incredible view! West facing, large glass doors on first and second level. Balcony on both levels as well, all overlooking the lake and pretty minimal light pollution. This place is well lived in and feels like a cozy home. Much more comfortable and inviting than a sanitized, boring, modern place.

Such a relaxing property!

We enjoyed the property especially the upstairs porch with rocking chairs in the cool mornings.

I made a mistake on my reservation and somehow booked it for 2026 and the host was so amazing and he unblocked days so that we could still stay on the night of my daughter’s birthday! He completely saved our entire trip when thought I made a mistake booking it. He was the best host you could ever ask for and the cabin comes with everything you could possibly need they were extremely thoughtful and prepared and made our trip so amazing! The cabin is absolutely beautiful!!

Nice quiet property for our little weekend getaway

Due to a death in the family right before our planned stay, we were unable to make it. The owner was very understanding and kind about it and we will definitely check with him for our next trip.

This property was not quite what we expected. It is definitely quirky. The hurdle at the bottom of the stairs almost got us more than once. The kitchen was very small and there was a griddle not a grill. We like to cook, so this made things more difficult. It was also not well stocked. However, the host was easy to work with when we had difficulty with the AC and the views were beautiful.

This property was great for a birthday weekend getaway for the two of us. The patios were great for morning coffee, watching the sunset, and hanging out under the stars. The house was clean and organized all the way around including great smelling sheets. I do recommend staying here and we likely will again.

My family and I stayed here for four days with my mom. We were celebrating our birthdays and wanted to just have a reset from the city life. It was a nice stay, very peaceful, the neighbor was nice, the woods had crisp air and I enjoyed the beautiful sunset and sunrise. Although it was cold it was still very enjoyable. There wasn't any wifi which is a good thing. It helped the kids to get more int puch with nature and we did a lot of hiking and deer watching. Thanks again. We will be back.

As all the other reviews have stated, the view from the decks are incredible! The house is older, but it was spacious, homey and had everything we needed for a great stay. We would recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful stay.

We loved the views from the deck. So beautiful. We spent most our time at Turner falls but while there it was cozy. The kids had a running joke that there was a ghost lol. Clearly there isn't just so everyone knows. It was fun! Would return again and recommend to others! Enjoy the views yall life is short. Make menories.
