The streets beneath the live oaks are flat, walkable, and peaceful in the way that beach communities with more commercial infrastructure simply aren`t.

Arbor & Tide sits tucked into that canopy — the natural blues and browns of the interior palette chosen specifically to complement the coastal forest setting without competing with it. The sunroom at Arbor & Tide is two rooms separated by a door — each with its own purpose, both running across the back of the house.The screened lounge area is accessible from the main living room and the back deck — open to the backyard air without the insects, furnished for relaxed afternoons and easy evenings. The dining sunroom seats eight in natural light with the live oak canopy visible through the glass on every side. Both areas connect to the kitchen and both living rooms simultaneously — the natural gathering point for every meal and every slow morning of the trip.

The private beach access is down the street (about a 2-3 minute drive to private parking) — key fob included, waiting inside the house on arrival. No circling for parking, no public access crowds. The Pine Knoll Shores beach at this access point is quieter and less trafficked than the more central Bogue Banks accesses. The outdoor shower in the backyard handles the return — rinse off before anyone comes inside.
