When you are ready to explore Anna Maria Island beyond the beach, walk over to the free trolley stop at the corner of Gulf Drive and 50th Street. “Aquarius” offers four parking spaces, so leave the cars and the stress of finding parking, and view the island like a local. The trolley typically runs every 20 minutes, and takes you almost the entire length of the island. If you are looking for fine dining, The Beach Bistro is just a few blocks away. Catch a northbound trolley into the city of Anna Maria, or a southbound trolley to the city of Bradenton Beach.

Anna Maria Island’s noise ordinance aims to ensure citizens can enjoy a peaceful environment. The ordinance applies to all areas of the city, including public and private property, and places of business. It defines noise as any sound that annoys or disturbs a reasonable person of ordinary sensibilities or causes or tends to cause an adverse physical or psychological effect on such reasonable person. The noise ordinance limits the maximum permissible noise levels to:
7 AM–10 PM: 65 decibels: (Consistently shouting in the pool exceeds 65 decibels)
10 PM–7 AM: 50 decibels: (An audible conversation from 50’ or 15 meters away exceeds 50 decibels)
The ordinance also prohibits plainly audible noise, which refers to any sound that can be clearly heard by a person using their normal hearing faculties. This means that a person can still be in violation if the noise can be easily heard by responding officers from a distance of 100 feet from the property line. Fines for excessive noise can range from $100 to $1,000.

    We had such a good stay. The heated pool was nice, even on chilly days the kids still enjoyed it. Such a quick, short walk to the beach, too.

    The house was set up well for various family units. The pool was nice and reasonably warm. The amenities like the ping pong table and fuzeball table were a nice touch. Being pet friendly was a must and the design allowed us to keep them separate when we wanted. Very nice and would certainly consider staying there again.

    We had a fantastic time and loved the house. The house is very comfortable and beautifully decorated. It has a wonderful relaxing beach vibe to it. It was much closer to the beach than we thought so that was really convenient. It’s such a beautiful beach and not crowded. The only negatives is that the shower faucet in the bedroom off the dinning room needs to be fixed or a new mixer installed. The water was lukewarm and my son and his partner couldn’t use the shower. The property manager sent someone to try fix it but they said nothing could be done. The kitchen cabinets and drawers are not clean and are very messy. It was hard to find things. Some items are really old and worn and clearly need to be thrown away and the coffee machine is stained and in bad condition. So we didn’t use it.

    It's a nice property and a short walk to a beautiful beach. The pool is a little smaller than it looks in the photos but still worth dipping in to cool off. The game room with ping pong and foosball was a lot of fun. Mosquitos were kind of bad even though the back is screened in but we used some bug repellant. Check in and out was super easy. Overall very happy with the rental.

    Our family had one of the best vacations ever at this home. There was plenty of space, a bunch of games and the pool was great. Location was super close to the beach and walking distance to shopping and restaurants.

    The house surpassed our expectations. It was clean and well furnished. We loved the layout. It gave each couple a space of their own. It was within a comfortable walk to several restaurants, stores and the beach. There was also a trolley stop at the end of the street. We would definitely consider booking this house again.

    Pros: Property is as described. Very convenient to the beach which is right down the street. Property management company was top notch and answered many of my questions within a few hours-minutes. An extra fridge in the game room. Cons: The home is starting to show its age, worn patio cushions. Only two beach chairs. Way too many items in the kitchen cupboards. We had no space to keep our pantry items so we had to clear off the kitchen counters which were over accessorized. Internet speed was spotty. It was a last minute reservation and it met our needs, so overall I would consider an okay rental.
