Antigua's Best Oceanfront, 2BD, 2BT Serene Beach Home

The view is amazing

We just returned from a week in paradise! Villa Olivette was even more spectacular than we dreamed. Lenard met us for check-in and was incredibly welcoming and helpful, and was always available anytime we needed anything. The house and property were gorgeous. The views were simply out of this world, with the villa perched at the top of a hill right at the edge of the ocean. We loved walking the rocky beach each morning to hunt for shells and found all kinds of cool marine life in the tidal pools. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Both bedrooms had spectacular views and we woke to the dreamy sound of ocean waves every morning. The kitchen was stocked with all the utensils we needed for home-cooked meals. The balconies were a wonderful place to hang out and soak in the ocean views and the starry skies. The rocky beach below the house has excellent snorkeling with a reef surrounding the coastline if you are a more experienced swimmer (lots of rocks and waves and sea urchins). Otherwise there are many spectacular beaches right in the area within a few minutes’ drive of the villa that are wonderful for swimming.The wi-fi was excellent. It was nice to have a washing machine and a grill. We took the advice of other reviewers and rented a Jeep Wrangler, which was so much fun, and so had no problem with any of the roads, which can be quite bumpy in Antigua. We were all so sad for our week to end. We look forward to returning to Villa Olivette one day!

Probably the best view on the island. Lenard, the house manager was a real bonus, making the stay even better.

Unbeatable views of Carlisle Bay (and Montserrat when it’s clear enough) with your own “private” bay and tide pools. Great for shell hunting! As Canadians we appreciated the island breezes outside and available AC inside.

It is beyond words! The view from the property is unbelievable and the beaches close by are fantastic for families of all ages!Lenard who looks after the property is one in a million! Such an amazing property. Me and my wife loved our stay here 2 years ago, this time we brought our 2 kids (age 8 & 11) and my mother in law with us for a week. There was lots of space for all of us. We love the privacy this property offers along with the breathtaking views. There is a small beach down at the edge of the property, the kids enjoyed collecting shells and beach glass every morning as well as flying their kite. The location is great, there are 2 beautiful beaches (Carlisle Bay Beach and Morris Bay Beach) only minutes away. Carlisle Bay Beach has a new small beach bar/restaurant called South Bay Restaurant , great food at affordable prices. There is also a number of small food stands at Morris Bay Beach. Other beautiful beach (Fryes, Turners, Darkwood, Valley Chuch and Jolly Beach are only 10-15 minutes away. The hosts Lenard and Claudine are awesome, very responsive and went out of their way to help ensure we had a great trip. Hope to be back again :)

Highlights were the amazing views. The property is older and shows wear and a little run down. One of the air conditioners in the 2nd bedroom beeped all night and didnt work. Washing machine didnt work. Shower pressure was hit or miss. Communication was awful.

The view and location make it worth the trip. Leonard was great and answered all the questions we had. The house has all the amenities you need to cook and is not too far from some really great restaurants. Sandras.. South Beach bar and resturant located 2 mins away in carlyle Bay

We enjoyed an idyllic family getaway at Villa Olivette! Highlights of our trip included snorkelling at the nearby Cades Reef, deep sea fishing with the crew on Pacific Marlin out of Jolly Bay, the Thursday Reggae Night at Shirley Heights Lookout, Gina's BBQ chicken, exploring shore snorkelling and beautiful beaches on the island, etc. And, of course... the relaxing sounds of the ocean and spectacular Caribbean views from the villa's balcony. Villa Olivette is well situated to access as much or as little as one wants! The house was perfectly set up for our family trip with teenage kids. Check in and check out was very easy, thanks to Lenard. Thanks for sharing your vacation home with us so that our family could make some treasured memories together in lovely Antigua!

What's not to love! Beautiful property, with an amazing view of the ocean. We loved waking up to this scenery every day. Property manager was always available, private driver Claudelle was amazing! Don't take my word for it, take a trip to Antigua and stay at this beautiful property!
