Stayed May 27, 2023Slight delay in contacting Massimo, but no bother. Good directions around property. Location perfect for us. Best facilities we've had in rentals. Didnt use the outside terrace - seemed a bit gloomy. Perhaps some bright paint on the cement walls. Alla prossima

Stayed Sep 28, 2019We loved the property, it was our first time travelling with an infant and we needed somewhere that was easily accessible with a buggy. The only real downside was the check out process. The property owner was not available, so we had to park down the road (parking in Lucca is not easy) unlock the electric. gates post the keys and run to make it back through the gates in-time before they closed. This added an extra bit of stress to the travel home that was not needed especially as we were in a rush to make our flight.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This is a gem of a cottage in a great location a couple of minutes walk from the walls. Everything was immaculate and it was obvious that a lot of thought had been given to making this little cottage stylish but comfortable. The outside space for eating is a real bonus as is the off street parking. Massimo and Antonella are lovely hosts. Really warm, welcoming, generous and passionate about Lucca. They showed us how everything worked and shared recommendations about places to visit and restaurants which were good. All our pre-visit contact received prompt and helpful responses. We would highly recommend this cottage.

Stayed Apr 21, 2018Great place. 2 minute walk from city gate and the wonderful old city of Lucca. Spotlessly clean and everything looked brand new and worked perfectly. Kitchen had everything you could possibly need. Unit even had a safe for valuables Very welcoming host met our train at station and dropped us there when we left. Made our stay in Lucca delightful
