Booked the Anam Cara property for our daughter’s graduation from Notre Dame. The location is really close to campus. Just under a mile from the edge of campus. Walkable as well. It is located on Twyckenham, which is a busy road. The bedrooms facing the street do get road noise thru the night but it’s not unreasonable. Super close to Trader Joe’s and about 5 mins from Martins Supermarket.The house is well appointed with all the utensils, dishes, serving pieces you would need for a large party. Very well stocked. Coffee maker is a drip coffee pot and it worked excellent. The decor is ND top to bottom, which being there to celebrate ND graduation made for an excellent backdrop to everything. Very large sectional fit everyone in our group around the very large TV. Every bedroom had its own TV as well, which was wonderful. The 2 car garage access was perfect for parking, plus the additional space in front of the front door. We did a lot of airport runs back and forth picking up family. It was 15-20 minutes each way.The washer and dryer was great to do a few loads of laundry too. There are stairs up to the bedrooms and bathroom and stairs down to the master bedroom and master bathroom. No bathroom on the main level. The flights are short, but something to consider if you have family with mobility issues.We had an excellent stay in this property and would stay again with no hesitation.
