Stayed Apr 6, 2022Wow what an incredible view!!! Stayed glued to the big windows in the living room for hours taking in the beauty of the Puget Sound. Roxy was a wondedul host, very responsive, very accommodating, committed to proving a great experience for her guests. Even though it is a split level home with access just to the upstairs, the owners weren’t there, we had complete privacy. The home is located in a quite, upscale community and equipped with everything you might need for your stay. It has been renovated, has newly installed forced heat (furnace) and a fan in the living room you can turn on and off. The bedrooms are darker and cooler, the living room is spacious and well lit thanks to the big windows and skylights. The host has put in place a number of rules to ensure the house is always left in a great condition and we appreciated that. The house rules were not posted in the property description so here they are to avoid any surprises: House Rules: - No smoking - No pets allowed, the owners are highly allergic - No events, parties, or large gatherings - Alcohol is not allowed anywhere at the property - Do not move any of the furniture - Please no overnight sleeping on the sofas - No shoes inside the house, leave all shoes at the entry in the shoe cabinet - Please no food or drink in the living room or in the bedrooms - Please be sure to not track any sand into the house - Quiet hours are enforced from 10 PM to 8 AM We had a great stay and would come again.

Stayed Apr 8, 2026The view and the location cannot be beat! However, the furniture needs some updating and is not comfortable. The main king bed is not usable for 2 people. It sinks in the middle and has no firmness left. In addition, the room is set up awkwardly with an additional bed in the room and is cumbersome to navigate. The living room furniture is not comfortable for hanging out or watching tv or admiring the beautiful views of the water. There is not any network tv set up, so I recommend that you have a streaming service like YouTube TV to be able to stream any network or local tv stations. Another suggestion is with the beautiful views and spacious deck, some nicer patio furniture is needed. We would have spent much more time on the deck had the chairs been comfortable The MAJOR issue with this rental is that there is someone living or visiting downstairs and there is not a secure barrier between the basement and the upstairs. This really should be disclosed PRIOR to anyone renting. There is a drape and something else blocking access, but as far as we can see and hear were the only things between us and whomever was down there. We did not venture down to the basement, but when the person burned something they were cooking you would swear it was in your unit. You could also hear people talking and they were doing some minor drilling and hammering which was annoying. It did not last long, but was enough that it bothered us during our stay and should have been disclosed as a possibility. The owner does not respond to text or email but did answer the phone when called and also got back to us promptly when we had questions. The home was clean and well stocked. The one neighbor we met was friendly and offered suggestions on what to watch for out in the water, keying us in on some whales that were feeding.

Stayed Mar 12, 2026The best asset for this property is its view - looking out of the large windows in the living room was outstanding. The house was clean, well stocked kitchen and owner very helpful. Be aware there is no washer/dryer. This was not a problem for us since our daughter lives nearby. However, it could be a problem for others. A washer/dryer is not listed in the VRBO description so it’s not a false representation.

Stayed Aug 8, 2025It was great.. just weird owners were there when I went through front door…. Thankfully they didn’t stay downstairs. I would have like to had heads up that the owner stay e downstairs. Idk why we are great people , it would have been uncomfortable. The place was beautiful and perfect. I also thought it odd that we were not even able to have a glass of wine???? A beer???

Stayed Aug 23, 2025We truly enjoyed our three-day stay in this great Anacortes home. It has an amazing view of the Puget Sound, complete with porpoises, harbor seals, seabirds and boats passing by. The house was clean, comfortable and stylish, with plenty of amenities. The hosts were very friendly as well. Without a doubt, would stay there again!Stayed 3 nights in August, 2025

Stayed Nov 7, 2024Loved our time in Anacortes, with a beautiful home that felt like a home away from home. We enjoyed the gorgeous view of the bay and walking the beach every morning. Having a piano to play was a treat. There is so much to explore in the area, if was great having a home base to come back to after each adventure.

Stayed Aug 25, 2024We had a fun-filled and relaxing week! We spent three days in Anacortes and explored Washington Park and Deception Pass. We took the ferry to Lopez Island and biked one day and, the next day, saw Orcas and a humpback on our whale excursion out of Friday Harbor. Sunny and 65 for the week and exceeded our expectations.
