Stayed Jan 4, 2024La Casa Servanda is the perfect place for a quiet and relaxing stay on the island. The N/W coast area is a very laid back and beautiful part of La Palma. The house itself is an old cottage that has been renovated to a very high standard by the owner whose ancestors originally built it about 200 years ago. The cottage is accessed by a private drive and there are no other houses nearby. Because it faces S/W one is looking at uninterrupted views to banana plantations about a mile away and the sea beyond. The sunsets are fantastic as are the stars at night. The owner and caretaker are always ready to help. Although the cottage is peaceful and private there are shops/banks etc about 5 mins away by car, 20 mins walking and an excellent farmers market at the weekends. I have already booked to return next year.

Stayed Mar 5, 2022A perfect hideaway with a spectacular view and all you need if you are looking for a quite place to enjoy the sound and smell of nature. Jose as a mindful invisible host had an answer to every question we had and we definitely recommend this wonderful place! Next time we need to work a bit harder trying to find the secret corner where the chicken couple hides their eggs… Harald, Christine and Susanne
