Fantastic house & location. We all had the best time in large part due to our accommodations. Highly recommend!
We loved this property - remote down gravel roads and on a v quiet lake. The property is gorgeous - v well equipped kitchen and game and kayaks, etc. Everything is high spec and high end - felt like a luxurious private home and was so nice I was surprised the owners rent it. It was super quiet in the roommate location - just bird songs to enjoy. A real gem and highly recommend.
The house was beautiful and had everything you could need for a wonderful family vacation. The lake was so peaceful and pretty and the kids loved kayaking in it. The owner was very responsive and helpful. Thank you!
Absolutely beautiful home. Well maintained and very private. Owner was wonderful to work with. Great family fun and sleeps many.
Great cabin in a great location. Lake is quiet and peaceful but only 10 minutes from Charlevoix. Enjoyed watching the sunsets and the loons.
This property is a hidden gem tucked away in a small no wake lake with loons. We sat outside on the expansive deck and spent our afternoons relaxing and enjoying the privacy of this property! Large upstairs bedrooms for our family to spread out. The gourmet kitchen is the best surprise!
We had a fantastic long weekend with our family and enjoyed the house and area immensely. House was very well appointed!
This was one of our most satisfying stays at a rental property. The cabin sits on a peaceful lake uncluttered by loud, racing boats. One of our sunsets was over the top spectacular - all of us comparing photos of it. Family who had stayed in town all remarked that the photos looked internet photoshopped because they were too perfect. The outdoor living area of this cabin is welcoming, comfortable, and encourages at times quiet reading, napping, solitude (even with eight people in the space), the observance of nature, the enjoyment of breezes and sun sparkling on the lake. At other times it provides the perfect setting for family conversations and frivolity at the campfire. There are sunny spots and shady spots. Plenty of seating for everyone. We made use of the kayaks and sat on the dock frequently. Our weather was sunny and in the mid 70s the entire time. We only ran the air conditioning at night to cool the upstairs. The cabin is spacious in all the living areas. We gathered mostly in the large kitchen while we cooked many meals. But the living room accommodates everyone also. Both of these rooms face the lake. If you travel with kids (we did not) they can easily make use of the abundant second floor loft area that has two enormous bedrooms (and a third small one) and an additional living room area. Truly two of the three upstairs bedrooms are so large that they contain not only numerous beds in each but tables and comfortable seating areas. Furnishings and décor provide a setting for a treasure hunt. So many antiques and motifs. Even with all there is to grab your attention, I loved the throw rugs most. Just so many unique touches. I suggested to John that he have a stack of photos on the living room table of all the little treasures throughout the house. Then a child could draw a card from the stack and go hunt throughout the house to find that object. All the usual serviceable issues and events - check in, communication, cleanliness, etcetera were smooth and as they should be. I would only note that most of us felt the mattresses were not the most comfortable and the water pressure is low. Neither of these things was a bother to any of us and would certainly not prevent us from returning. Indeed, we were all in awe of the magnificent space and everyone kept thanking me for arranging it. We highly recommend you book this beautiful cabin on the lake.
The cabin was beautiful. Peaceful surroundings
Beautiful spot on quiet lake. Excellent spot for those not looking to be on the big water.
