Stayed Feb 2, 2025The property has recently been renovated and it's fantastic! The space was well designed, and everything you could need for your vacation was available. The house is in close proximity to all the essential stores (Public, Walmart, etc.), and there are lots of great restaurants that can be found on Cape Coral. We had a great time staying at this property and would recommend!

Stayed Jan 31, 2023On the second day of arrival we were told to move our vehicles so a dumpster could be placed in the driveway. There was no communication to us that they were going to be starting the roof the next morning - 7+ men showed up unexpectedly and started to cover the pool and hot tub forcing us out of the lanai area. We contacted Roelens property management several times daily by phone and emails and no one got back to us to update us, or assist us with these issues. They just passed it along to another person. Two days later, 15mins prior to a blind company showing up we received a phone call stating that they were coming from 10-2pm to install blinds. Complete invasion of our privacy, as they entered the house when we weren’t even home at the time of their arrival. Then the construction workers left cap nails scattered all in the pool, and hot tub area, which created a very unsafe environment. The workers parked a goose neck trailer in the driveway making it hard for us to park our vehicles safely. Again, no one had answers, no one reached out to let us know of the construction happening, it was a complete hazard of tools, material, and tarps left about the house. We’ve checked out of the house and it’s been 5 days without anyone getting back to us. This home shouldn’t have been able to rent during construction, and the home owners had not a care in the world that we were there renting, paying to be inconvenienced with noise, hazards, and construction during our vacation time. VERY Inconsiderate and very dangerous.

Stayed Feb 14, 2022My husband and I stayed for 2 weeks and were not thrilled to be leaving. Location at the crossroad of 2 canals, warm pool, hot spa if you like, all rooms decorated beautifully. We sat at the tiki hut to read till it got too dark, watching the boats come back in. We ate most meals on the lanai, only went out for dinner a few times. Our only problem was that across the side canal, they were installing new pilings, then began building a new dock. Quite noisy for close to a week, but not anything we could do about it. Not the homeowners or the property managers doing! At least when we go back next year, it’ll be done ( and quiet). We highly recommend Villa Sea Oar No.

Stayed Jul 28, 2021Pros: Having a house off the canal with an outdoor tiki hut and a large pool. CONS: (this list is more than I could write due to word limit constraints) The home was not up to expectations as far as someone renting the house is concerned. -Upon checking-in, we walked into an infestation of ghost ants in and around the home. They were EVERYWHERE…walking on the kitchen counters, on the stove, all over the bathroom walls and on linen towels, in the bedrooms and living/dining rooms. It was an unsanitary mess to walk into. The management company knew there was an infestation since there were ants traps in every room and in many of the kitchen cupboards and drawers. There was an exterminator that came to this property to kill/bait hundreds of ants with spray while my family and I were there on the premises. The exterminator told me that this infestation of ants was the worst she had seen in 23 years of her job. She said she could not walk 3 feet outside without seeing a colony of ants trying to get into the house. This ant problem caused my family and I to live out of our car with our luggage and toiletries for our shortened stay. -The owner of Roelen’s Properties came out to hear our concerns. He was VERY standoffish, combative and was condescending towards us. He didn’t think the ant problem was a big deal and continually rolled his eyes at the list of our concerns. The owner NEVER apologized for the issues, yet all he did was make excuses. Furthermore, upon telling the owner that we would like to be placed in a different rental home property, he told us that there was nothing that he could do to accommodate us. He said that there was nothing available immediately. We left the next day. If Roelen’s Properties was a reputable company, they would have acknowledged that the living conditions were unacceptable and tried to accommodate us in a better way. I WOULD NOT recommend a Roelen’s Property Rental Home to anyone. Clearly customer service and satisfaction are not at the top of their list. This vacation was a nightmare and sent my stress and anxiety into overload. I was never looking for free vacation, in fact, we left the property 4 days early and paid for a second home that exceeded our expectations. I emailed Roelen’s Vacation Services and never received a response back. I should have checked the Better Business Bureau before booking with Roelen’s Properties. I now see that they are not accredited, nor well rated/reviewed. What a disappointment!

Stayed Aug 3, 2021House was nice and beautiful. Dished was not cleaned nor was the towels. Blinds in the master bedroom was broken and left wide open. Was told they would be fixed that day. No one reached back out to me at all. I had to call in 3 days in a row and the last day they finally fixed them. Hot tub/pool heater didn't work so the spa was useless. Also told someone would come look at it but no one showed up at all. I have been told I was to get phone call to make things right and still days after the stay I haven't received one call. BEWARE OF THIS PROPERTY....

Stayed Jun 14, 2021The check in was fast and convenient. Property manager is very quick response. The house has a beautiful pool and water view. We are so close to everything such as Publix, dollar store and restaurants. Quiet neighborhood and nice yard! We love it here! 30 mins to Sanibel island and fort Myers.
