Amazing views&location! TH in downtown, w/parking, great for 2 families

This is a well maintained property that is close to the freeways 84 and 35. Property manager Amy was very helpful in resolving a situation with kids locking themselves out of their bedroom. I think they should leave the key for bedroom with the guest as this could happen to anyone. But for minor inconveniences such as these, I would have given a 5 rating.

I was exceptionally disappointed. Despite my attempts to resolve these concerns w/ the property manager prior to posting a negative review, I received neither a partial refund nor a specific credit for a future stay. Consequently, as my follow-up correspondence remains unaddressed, I am providing a formal account of my experience.Positive: The property is an excellent location to downtown w/great views. The beds utilized by our party were very comfortable, & the interior remained quiet when the windows and doors were secured against highway noise.Concern:The oven was unusable because it was so dirty. The shower head in the middle bathroom was rusted and exhibited black mould, while the upstairs shower required new caulking due to severe discoloration or mould growth. There was a hole in the upstairs bathroom wall from the toilet paper holder hitting it. The carpeting required stretching; it was wrinkled and a tripping hazard. The barbecue was dirty, the deck was covered in debris which had been there for a while. I was also forced to sleep on the couch because we could not use the downstairs bedroom, a converted garage, which emitted strong concrete smells & dampness. The property manager said the owners were there all winter, and she apologized for not keeping up on the maintenance after they had left & would give me a discount next year, I asked her for a dollar amount of discount. I have yet to hear back from her after 2 emails and a text.

The view was amazing. The location was perfect for walking everywhere. Very beautiful place. Would stay here again for sure.

Overall a really good place. Central location and cool view. The mattresses don’t have a lot of life left. Need to make sure you bring soap and coffee.

Overall the property was located in a good area and the mountain and river sites from the livingroom where a nice surprise! We had a good number of family (a few children) and it was nice that there was plenty of rooms and even with all the stairs going up and down we did well. I reccomend this property!

The location is perfect - several options for restaurants, boutiques, coffee shops, bakeries, and breweries and within easy access to the interstate to hit all the beautiful sights of Columbia River Gorge. Caution - there are quite a few stairs between all three bedrooms. Keep that in mind for family members with accessibility requirements. Well appointed rental. If you need it, it’s available. The views of the river is perfect and sitting out on the balcony in the evening is very relaxing.

Here for a wedding. The house is situated in the City Center of Hood River. Great downtown, shops, restaurants, friendly neighbors and a very friendly cat named Waffles. Liked the layout of the condo but needs sprucing up, painting, a deep clean, etc. Would rent again.

Everything so comfortable (nice linens and beds) kitchen ready to use. Spaces for all to gather or find a private nook. Can’t beat this location!! So great!

We had a great stay. Lots of seating in the living space for everyone to hang out. The kitchen had lots of space as well. Beds were very comfortable. Lots of stairs, especially to the 3rd bedroom with the bunks. I had an older person with me that couldn’t do a lot of stairs, so I was constantly having to take the car around the building to get her in the car. Overall, Hood River is beautiful and the location is great gor walking to downtown.
