This 1800 sq ft home was built by my father in the late 60's. Both of my parents have passed away and after a bad experience renting it long term, my husband, kids and myself decided to gut it right out to the outer walls and start over again. It has been over a two year process. We finished it Saturday, March 2nd, 2024 It is located 5 miles from the trail heads to many of the Adirondack High Peaks. It also only a 3 minute drive from Lake Placid. It faces the west and is a sunset heaven

Stayed Aug 23, 2025My sons and I had an amazing time staying at this beautiful renovated property! I highly recommend it! It's 4 miles from Lake Placid and Mirror Lake, hiking trails, skiing, great restaurants, etc. Next time we are up in the Lake Placid area we will be staying here again. Beautiful property with lots of privacy.

Stayed Jul 4, 202510/10 recommend this beautiful home! we spent our July 4th weekend here and we had the best time! the location is perfect if you want somewhere still close to town, but still gives you that ADK escape. The renovations were so well done and the whole place is stunning. we had everything we needed and a corner store close by if we needed it. Perfect location for two small kiddos. We plan on making this place a yearly tradition! :)
