Stayed Jul 1, 2024Great location, if you don’t mind having lake access via a canal (we didn’t mind). The owner’s boat was not available to us, so we rented a pontoon boat from LaPrades. The owner’s boat is stored at the house making a second boat a bit tricky but doable as long as the water level is sufficient. The lake was about a foot low (according to neighbors) but was still ok for getting in & out of the canal. I don’t know how much lower the water level can go without causing difficulties. Also, getting the boat in & out takes several people. The house/kitchen was stocked well but somewhat haphazard (ex: there weren’t 8 glasses of the same style for meals). Overall, the house & location made a nice vacation.
