AMAZING OCEANFRONT PRIVATE LUXURY in Mendocino

My husband and I stayed in this house for our 35th anniversary. The view is amazing!! The house was very clean and stocked well with everything we needed. There is plenty of room for a family with 3 bedrooms but we only utilized the master bedroom. Elizabeth, the host, is very nice and helpful.

Home beautiful, comfortable and located in a one-of-a-kind stunning seaside area. It’s really a terrific place and Elizabeth did a great job of making us feel at home. Loved the Seals, Deer and wildlife around the home. Super grateful to be guests here! Really appreciated the love Elizabeth infused into the home with interior decorations!

We were mesmerized by the ocean view through the glass paneled deck. Seal Reef is aptly named since there are five or six that hang out on the rocks in front. We saw a whole parade of whales migrating North- many breaches spread across a wide area that went on for almost an hour. We enjoyed the power recliner chairs and found the beds comfortable. We barbequed fish from the Princess fish market and enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen. We explored nearby Russian Gulch SP and hiked to the waterfall. We toured the Cabrillo Point lighthouse and learned all about the area's history and marine life. Host Elizabeth met us at check in and made sure we had wood for the impressive fireplace.

Just a breathtaking place. The smell of the ocean is mesmerizing. We watched the waves for hours and enjoyed all of the scenery each day we were there. Lovely manager of the property. It was very relazing anc comfortable.

Seal Reef is a truly special home and location! This is our second visit and undoubtedly not our last. As a place to gather family -- with the awesome ocean views -- it is perfect. Elizabeth is a responsive and wonderful host.

Beautiful home with amazing view. Unfortunately the third day of our stay was ruined by a storm with severe wind and rain. Otherwise we had a great time. Elizabeth the owner, was very responsive and prompt.

Beautiful home and the location was like no other. We watched the sunset and the moon rise over the ocean. Seals sunbathed on the reef outside our back door and the deer wandered around the neighborhood. This home has everything you need!

The house was perfect - location was superb. The seals put on a show daily. The weather couldn't have been better. We stayed for 11 nights and fell asleep to the sound of the ocean.

This is one of the loveliest VRBOs we've stayed in. Very clean and nicely decorated, gorgeous views, safe private neighborhood, and a very nice host who was eager to make sure our stay was good. We liked the proximity to both Mendocino and Fort Bragg. Enjoyed seeing the harbor seals and shorebirds from the house. I was glad we brought our binoculars. And the stars were fabulous!

Mendocino is my favorite place to be. For this trip I wanted to share this special place with my partner and some family. I found this beautiful home on the bluffs available so we booked it for 2 weeks. Had two family members join us for a couple nights. This home was perfect with all that we needed - very comfortable beds, furniture and all the amenities with an endless enjoyment of the ocean, seals and sunsets. Easy drive to go kayaking up the Noyo River, shopping or dining in town and tons of hiking. Our hosts Elizabeth and Michael were awesome. What a great experience.

This home is spectacular. We’ve rented a number of ocean view homes along the Mendocino coast and this home is our absolute favorite. The view is so incredible that it kept us from wanting to leave the house. So peaceful. We saw seals on the rocks below and birds offering beautiful flights. The furniture is nice quality and comfortable. The kitchen has just about everything you’ll need. We cooked most of our meals. Elizabeth was incredible. So friendly and helpful.

Breathtaking view and breeze. Kitchen fully stocked for any cooking to be done. Master bed so comfortable. Everything offered quality thru and thru. Will be back and recommend to anyone who wants to sleep to the sound of waves and watch the ocean and seals playing.

Beautiful and Tranquil best describe this vacation home! The location and view are unbelievable. The house literally sits on the edge of an ocean cliff. We sat for hours outside on back deck, listening to the sound of sea spray bouncing of the rocks below and watching the harbor seals resting on the rocks. The house is furnished with everything you need for your stay including shampoo and bath soap, coffee, outdoor gas grill and cooking spices. Elizabeth is an awesome host and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. The house is just up the road from the Russian Gulch State Park. If your up for a day hike its a beautiful walk to the falls. There is a beach and light house on the other side of this property that makes fun day trip as well. An easy drive to Fort Brag for dinning out and shopping. Take a short drive to Glass beach or a little further to Drive Through Tree State Park. We were able to spend the last day in the Napa valley area for wine tasting before making our way back home. This was an unforgettable vacation for our first trip to California. Will absolutely book again!

This was the best VRBO experience I’ve ever had. Our host was friendly and accessible, the house was clean and bright, but most of all, the setting on the cliff overlooking the ocean was breathtaking. It also felt much more like a home than a rental property. I’d give it an A+
