Cayucos is located on California’s scenic Central Coast, halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco. Cayucos sits quietly between the Pacific Ocean and the rolling hillsides of open ranchland and is what some people call "the last of the California beach towns." Listen to the quiet and stillness that only a small town in an untouched countryside can provide. Cayucos is the perfect remedy for those who suffer from the ills and frustrations of life in the fast lane in our crowded cities. Peaceful, underdeveloped ranchlands with cattle grazing on undulating, oak-crested hills provide a respite for the city weary.
The photos do not do this house justice. The ocean view was absolutely spectacular. An absolute 5 star rating in every way. Clean, comfortable, close to town and unmatched ocean views. This place was the best VRBO we ever rented! It was expensive, but absolutely worth it. Fabulous memories to last a lifetime.
Property was beautiful. We enjoyed our stay and will come back!
The view in this house is exquisite. The kitchen is roomy and great for preparing meals.
Great stay. Will definitely look into staying here again.
Beautifully clean and wonderful smelling. Great views.
The view was spectacular, perhaps I overlooked that this is a duplex and were disrupted by noisy neighbors as the wall dividing the two houses is paper thin. Sitting in the main room we were forced to listen to the neighbors tv and loud arguing if we wanted to take in the view from our living room. In addition to that the word fireplace should be removed from the add. THERE IS NO FIREPLACE IN THIS HOUSE! The light switches are in all the wrong places and the furniture is in dire need of replacement there is one chair that is ok and a sofa that is in need of replacement that’s it. We had three in our party and we’re searching for a place to sit if someone was lounging on the sofa. Need more seating! Good chance I will not go back as the last review like mine was in 2002 and nothing has changed.
The only negative thing I have to say is the living room wasn’t very comfortable. The small three person couch was hard and then there was only one comfy chair. There were six of us ages 67-68 and it was stormy the whole time so we spent a lot of time in that room and had to sit on the floor or hard backed kitchen chairs.
We had a great time in Cayucos and the house was perfect. The house with its view, along with the cute restaurants and shops downtown made our 12th Anniversary so incredibly special. Thanks you! ?
Beds and sheets uncomfortable. Difficult to find lighting and switches. Living room furniture very uncomfortable.
My husband and two adult sons, ages 28 and 24 enjoyed the week. The surfing was fantastic, the ocean was full of sea life, dolphins, whales, sea otters, pelicans. I would urge folks to pack a pair of binoculars. I wish we had had some. Thank you!
