The Caretaker’s house~ Built in 1942, it has been lovingly renovated with both comfort and function in mind. The living room / bedroom has a queen bed, an oversized chair, a dresser and lamps, and a table with two chairs. The kitchen has a ‘retro’ red fridge, a gas stove with oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, pots, pans, plates, glassware, and silverware. There is plenty of cabinet space. Stayed Jul 25, 2025This is a lovely little home on a fantastic ranch. You can see for miles from the top of the short ridge behind the house. The owners were very responsive to questions and we never saw/heard the ranch hand that was apparently living in another building. Water is not potable (but bottled water provided). And no television (what we wanted). We fell asleep to the barn owls calling to each other.

Stayed Jun 3, 2024Caretakers house at Harmony ranch was as advertised. Plenty of room for me or for a couple. Cottage was clean and well located for my purpose of exploring the areas along CA HWY 1. Close to Cayucos and Cambria for restaurants and shopping.
