Amazing Ocean View Property W/Hot Tub In Depoe Bay

The house had most the things we needed. The hot tub was nice. The location was great, being able to walk downtown is awesome. The house could use some basic maintenance such as paint and door knobs that don’t fall off when you turn them.

It was good overall I think the requirements for check out were to extension requiring stripping beds and starting laundry when we are charged for a cleaning fee

The downstairs apartment tv did not work at all. Internet down there was crappy. The fridge was filthy on top, in the master bathroom towel rack broken..several small issues like this, that were annoying, but still a good stay. Great location.

This Depoe Bay gem is where it's at! Views, location, comfort, hot tub. It has it all! Do not look elsewhere if you're looking to stay in Depoe Bay. Right across the street from one of the best coastal restaurants and walking distance to the main strip for shopping and sight seeing. Could not have asked for more. Great spot, highly recommend!!

Great little getaway with our family. The teenagers had the downstairs area and adults had their area upstairs but we could all be together as we wanted. I did email with no response back about the TV not working/needing a code, but didn’t need it as we didn’t watch TV. The kitchen was well stocked with all utensils/cookware that you could need. We had 2 dogs with us and other than the property not being fenced they loved it as well. Overall this was a great place that we would stay at again.

We had an awesome stay at this place. The layout is perfect for 2 families with kids and there is more space left.Parking for 2 cars was tight, and the steep slope made it more difficult. It would be better, if they can offer a spot at the back or on the sides.The kitchen was well stocked, we missed some cooking oil though.

It was better than we could imagine. It was a perfect set up for part of our family with a 6 month old as the ground level was so private. The hot tub was amazing with a great view of the ocean and the weather was fantastic!

We love Depoe Bay and this home is the perfect location. The views are amazing and everything is within walking distance. Quick response from management when I called. We will definitely stay here again.Few things that could be better next time are there were no hand towels or wash cloths in the downstairs bathroom. Closets could use some hangers. I didn’t get an email for check in and had to call when I got there. I had to call again to get help searching for key to hot tub. Washer and dryer were great but be sure to bring your own detergent. Overall, we were impressed with our stay and definitely will return!

We arrived Thursday evening, we unloaded and went to dinner. We came back so we can get showers done and go to bed. The water was ice cold. We checked the breakers, all were on, so we went to find the water heater in a closet in the basement bathroom. The basement also has 3 beds, a game room and living room. We opened the door to find sooo much rat poop. My husband did not feel comfortable walking through the rat poop to try to find the reset switch. We reached out all the ways we could, we were told the team would discuss it the next morning. At 9:00 the next morning we had not heard anything. We had plans that day but needed to shower. We left messages again, my husband called pretty upset and got someone. Around 9:30 I got a call, a maintenance person came at 10:20 to reset the water heater and vacuum up the rat poop. Then we were told an electrician would be by so we waited some more. The electrician said it looked good but was an old water heater that might be going out. If it turned off again, that would probably be why. Two of us got Luke warm showers. We left to go do some activities and came back hoping to get warm showers again. The kids jumped in the hot tub so needed to shower. The water was ice cold. Showers were painful. We reached out again. There was nothing they could do except try to find us a other place the next night. Our last night we had hot water and no rat poop, thankfully, in a different home.

We ended up staying only 1 of our 3 nights booked here. House is very nice inside and clean, kitchen decently stocked and good location for downtown Depot Bay. However - the downstairs and upstairs are NOT connected by an indoor staircase, only way to get to each floor is by going outside, major safety concern if traveling with little ones and you’re hoping to have them in the twins downstairs. This caused us to have to leave early. Hottub is not really private, you’re kind of on display. Master bedroom curtains are white and let ALL light in, including the front door security light (bring a sleep mask).Master bedroom is also next to the road which has road noise ALL night. Bring expensive ear plugs or be a heavy sleeper. However- Meredith Property management showed high concern for our experience and safety issues with the separation of floors with kids and were so accommodating and helpful. Molly at Meredith was so sweet and showed high empathy. Would not book this place EVER again, but would rent from Meredith again :)

Clean, quaint, convenient location on hwy 101. Short walk to downtown.

Absolutely beautifully stunning ocean veiw, walking distance to very awesome shops and food, with a small trial close by and whale watching places as well. Short distance to Newport, and Lincoln city.

Had a great time with my family.

Super view and a great location close to town. Many of us found the furniture to be very uncomfortable. The king sized bed was so comfy, but the twin beds were extremely firm

This location is beautiful, you can sit in the window and look at the ocean. It is walking distance from everything. Set up is nice. I would highly recommend it.

The house was not very clean, but I could have overlooked that. What was unforeseeable was I bought $75.00 worth of oysters to grill because the listing showed it had a BBQ. But the wind was so strong each afternoon that the BBQ would not stay lite so we could not use it. Also, the blinds in the front windows are white so even when you shut them to help with the afternoon sun, it amplifies the sun coming in. Also, the cars going by is so loud inside the house, even at night, it just never stopped. Lastly the separate area downstairs makes it to where a family feels separated. I have rented many houses on the coast, and I have to say this stay will make me to my due diligence in the future.

For safety sake renters should clean dryer filter after every use

The inside door knob to the bathroom adjacent to the living room didn’t work well. If you closed the door, you could not get out of the BR. One of the slats on one of the beds in the downstairs area, was on the floor.
