Amazing location with endless views and stunning sunsets.4/bed, 3/bath home

If you love being by the beach, you will love it. Along with the beach being right there is you will deal with a lot of traffic, I mean a lot!! The side streets are hard to get down to make your way out of the area because this is one very popular beach. If you go down town where the shops and restaurants are don’t be in a hurry, it’s hard to find parking . The restaurants are wonderful, the climate is perfect.The house needs some new furniture inside and out and the cook ware definitely needs to be replaced and well the carpet needs some cleaning, I get that there is people there all the time renting but at some point you have to make time for that , it’s just not very inviting. People can be careless with food and drinks which I don’t understand when you are at someone’s house it should be treated with respect. The one bedroom upstairs has absolutely no where to put your clothes . The little kitchen was very nice and the living area was spacious. I don’t mean to sound negative, I’ve just have rented a lot of places and was a little disappointed, did it ruin my vacation absolutely not.

Excellent location! This house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We loved the small heated pool, the balconies, and the beach stuff they had for us to use! Nice off the street parking and Linda was very easy to communicate with and always got back to me in a timely manner!!

Pool and spa area was perfect. Our 2 1/2-year-old grandson loved the pool.

The location was incredible! A quick walk to the beautiful beach. But the house itself was a bit disappointing. The carpets were stained, and the fountain wasn't working in the pool, which was a disappointment for our grandkids. The place seemed a little tired, and in need of some cosmetic fixes.

This is a lovely home in a terrific location in San Diego area. Across from a public beach, the house still afforded privacy and quiet. Walkable to La Jolla Shores restaurants and short ride to La Jolla proper. Easy access to freeway to get to other San Diego points of interest. Hosts highly accessible and responsive.

Home was well supplied and host, Linda, was very accessible if needed. Wonderful location across the street from the park and beach. Several outdoor sitting spaces and indoor 2nd level all around windows to enjoy sunshine, sunsets and watching people and surfers on the beach. Huge master bedroom, other bedrooms smaller. Swim jet in spa was great. Walking distance to restaurants a plus. 2 sets of entrance stairs (one outdoor, one indoor) seemed more amenable to singles/couples than families. Wonderful area to show off San Diego to 2 out of town couples escaping northern cold and snow.

Great location, pool/spa was awesome. Would definitely stay here again.

The furniture is getting older and could use some updating. The location could not be better. Sunsets are amazing and the beach is 500 feet away. Close to everything.

Beautiful home- great location, loved the grotto pool and ocean views. Host was easy to communicate with, responded quickly to our questions. Many extras available for use- childrens items, beach items, cooking spices n pans, etc only minor criticism- may need to update couch n upstairs mattress soon. Highly recommend.

Beautiful property located across the street from a beach access point- walking distance to a few restaurants, our VERY favorite Italian restaurant Piatti - EXCELLENT!! We mostly used Lyft to get around. Kitchen well stocked- Keurig machine. No ice maker- ice trays. Pool is large hot tub with jets- very great!! Very relaxing and private. Beach is nice walk from one end to the other. Comfortable beds- no chest of drawers for clothes- just hang them up- plenty of hangers. Toe-locks on sliding glass doors- host was SO helpful with any of our needs!! Amazing home!!

This was our third time at this home and it was wonderful. There are a lot of nice updates and you cannot beat the location. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds are comfortable. Love the pool and also sitting on the front deck for sunsets.Linda is also a very responsive host. We look forward to our next stay!

Overall, we had an excellent stay. This was our favorite property by far (and we come every year). I felt the interior was nicer than the photos, which usually doesn't happen! The location cannot be beat and the breeze inside felt amazing. My only complaint was that we were not allowed to turn on the waterfall in the spa, which was the main reason I chose this property over one with just a lap pool.

If you’re looking for a home that gives you plenty of room to spread out with pristine views and a very short walk to LJS beach, this is the place!

I stayed here with my family to attend my son's graduation. What can I say, the house is wonderful. Great living room so we could sit - talk - and reconnect. My great niece and nephew spashed in the pool while the rest of the family enjoyed the magnificent view from the balcony. The hosts responded to any of my inquiries immediately. This place is truly a home away from home.

Every year my friends and I (5 other ladies) take a trip together for relaxation and fun. This was by far the most luxurious property we’ve stayed at. Everything about the property was perfect! We loved coming home in the evening and relaxing in the pool/hot tub, so much fun! Although we didn’t cook, we loved having the spacious kitchen with everything needed if we had wanted to. We did prepare some large charcuterie platters and had lots of snacks and plenty of room for all of our beverages, etc in the frig’.The beds were so comfortable and we all slept well. The full length mirrors with outlets available in the 2 downstairs bedrooms made sharing so easy-no having to coordinate bathroom time for getting ready. The master suite was out of this world with two separate showers and completely separate sink/ counter areas. We loved being able to load up the cart and walk to the beach to spend a few hours in the sun. The unit is a short walking distance from several great restaurants (Breakfast at Shorehouse Kitchen was amazing!). It’s also a quick and reasonable Uber into the Village of La Jolla or into San Diego. We did the walk from the unit to the Coast Walk Trail and into La Jolla; the views were breathtaking. Our last evening we enjoyed the most incredible sunset from the upper deck; what a way to cap off a perfect trip. Linda and Noel were so easy to communicate with and were so gracious with my questions and requests. We would love to stay there again!

We stayed for our daughter’s graduation from SDSU and it was the perfect beach location. We took advantage of the great restaurants and fun bars within walking distance. The pool was an added bonus.

We had a fantastic week visiting San Diego as a family. Location in La Jolla is walking distance to some shopping and restaurants, plus beach, kayaking and surfing right across the street! Convenient to the zoo, Coronado and other locations as well. House is amazing and everyone enjoyed the pool/hot tub!

This house was just as pictured, and we had a wonderful stay for a family wedding. We didn't actually get to spend a whole lot of time in the house, but everything was very clean, all in working order, and had amazing views of the Pacific. We want to stay again in the summer when the weather is a little warmer!

Amazing location with great views. We loved the access to the beach across the street and being able to walk to restaurants. House is lovely and well set-up, and kids and adults both loved the pool/spa! Host were responsive and friendly. Highly recommend and we are hoping to return and stay here again.

The home is perfectly located - views of the beach, walk across street to beach and park, walk just a few blocks (4-6) to local shops and restaurants, and easy walk to La Jolla cove to watch seals and sea lions and enjoy the larger shopping/restaurant district. Easy driving from driveway to lots of fun things to do: gliderport, Torrey pines hiking, etc. the home is exactly as pictured, well supplied, and clean. With 5 adult family members, we especially appreciated the number of separate bathrooms, outdoor patios on every side, and living space of the home. Rain showers were amazing. Spa was enjoyed every day during our trip. As others mention, outdoor cushions were not comfortable but the views make up for this minor issue. We will be back!!

Us seven girls have been friends for around 30 years. We wanted to celebrate big but also wanted to just relax and enjoy what La Jolla had to offer. This house was INCREDIBLE! Linda was extremely responsive and so nice. The pool/ hot tub was nothing we’ve ever experienced in such a private setting. It was perfect after a long day of exploring the area. Even if the temperature was 40 degrees at night the “pool” could warm up enough to be very cosy warm. The waterfall is no longer functioning due to the neighborhood noise ordinance. It was a bummer initially but it was still amazing. The living areas are so clean and large enough for so many different types of families or groups. It’s 4 beds (each in its own private room) and the couch was also a lovely place to sleep if needed. The inside fireplace was so lovely as well while playing games etc. The location is right by the beach and you can hear/see the ocean even with the windows closed. Even though it’s overlooking the public beach parking it’s still great. It’s so amazing how clean and safe it is day and night. There are great shops, restaurants, places to get anything you need within a very short walk. La Jolla cove is a 30 min walk from the property as well! Thank you for an unforgettable long weekend.

Awesome house and location.

This beautiful home is right across the beach and walking distance to the pier and a little village with shops and restaurants. The home was very comfortable for a family of six with lots of beach equipment, sand toys, pool toys, beach cruisers and soaps lotions and shampoos. The house was very clean pol toys

This our 3rd time staying at this beach house. It fits our family of three couples and toddler perfectly. Easy and quick walk to the beach. The Spa/pool is great for fun with little kids and adults, lots of seating and great jets. Linda is always a joy to work with and communicate with if anything arises. Some nice upgrades have been done throughout the house.

We lived in San Diego for years and come back often to enjoy the beach and catch up with friends. We splurged on this property for this trip and were not disappointed! The location is awesome, and the views are wonderful from practically any place on the second story. Between the beautiful pool/spa area and the decks & living area upstairs we would have been happy even if we never made it to the beach. The house is well laid out and very well stocked (better than most every VRBO rental we've had before). Having off-street parking made it even better. In the interest of full disclosure, there were a few minor maintenance issues (which Linda responded to quickly) and the no-cancellation policy is a bit nerve-wracking for such an expensive rental. We were also disappointed that the waterfall in the spa is permanently disconnected and couldn't be used. Also, some of the beach equipment is pretty beat up (boogie boards, surfboards) and the bikes were pretty much unusable (though we didn't really have much use for him this trip). Overall, though, this is the best VRBO rental in the La Jolla Shores area we've ever had in the 16+ years we've vacationed there, and we would rent it again in a heartbeat.

Can't beat the location. Wonderful view and amazing sunsets! Nice stroll to cute downtown area. The hosts were very responsive and accomodating.

The kitchen is well stocked and the house is always very clean. There is lots of room for a family stay and the beds are very comfortable. The pool is a bonus and you cannot beat the location. Walkable to the beach, restaurants and LaJolla cove. We look forward to returning!

This is a great house in a perfect location for the beach. It is well stocked and owner is very responsive. It was our second time and we are planning to go back!
