Amazing Lake Home on Cross Lake - 60 Miles from the Twin Cities

Beautiful lake home with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Great location between the Twin Cities and Duluth on a quiet lake. Only complaint is our vacation was too short! We would definitely book this home again.

House is beautiful. Only issue we had was to avoid a large wasp nest above front door and a small one in the kids area. Once this gets taken care of, it’s definitely a 10/10 stay.

We loved this property! We had kids ranging from 8-12 and the lily pad, kayaks, and paddle board were perfect for them. The house itself is gorgeous and just as advertised. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This is our 3rd year staying here. It fits our two families perfectly. There are lots of lake toys to use, great kitchen and lake is so beautiful and peaceful. We hope to stay again next year!

Mostly just slept there as we were gone visiting family during the days. However, it was a very welcoming and pleasant house to stay in. Would highly recommend to anyone else looking for a place to stay in the area.

My friends and I stayed here for the weekend to attend a friend's wedding and we couldn't have been more thrilled with this house! We didn't have a ton of down time to hang out in the house but there were so many games available and streaming services we had access to which we would have taken advantage of had we had the time. My only (very very small) comment is that there were a few windows/doors/parts of the ceiling that could have been cleaned up more (dust, flies, etc.) but it was so minimal with how lovely and well kept the house is. We also wanted to suggest that the little office that's in the master bedroom would be perfect to make into a vanity since the bathroom sinks are on top of the counter and there's not a ton of counter space to work with. Besides these tiny notes, this place is SO BEAUTIFUL and so well maintained. We highly recommend this VRBO to anyone who wants a beautiful, easy, and relaxing place to stay :)

This home was very neat and clean. Having access to the 2 stall garage was an added bonus. Checking in and out was so easy. There were many great features like games, paddle boards, kayaks that we were able to take advantage of.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 days at the Edgewater Bungalow in Pine City. The layout of the home was perfect for our family with amazing views of the lake. We rented a pontoon and spent much of our time in the water. Would highly recommend this property!

We love the Edgewater Bungalow. The views and access to Cross Lake are fantastic but we didn’t have to give up “creature comforts” during our stay. Fully functional kitchen with newer appliances, luxury bedding that is always clean. There are no details the property owners over looked. We look forward to our stay here every year.

Second year in a row we’ve stayed here. Great for families, nice lake and my son caught a Northern! Very clean and lots of water toys to use.

Took our 2 married children and grandchildren. Excellent home for larger parties! Grandchildren loved the Lilly pad tied to the dock! They even caught some fish off dock! Would highly recommend this property!!

Very nice and very clean rental home with a beautiful unobstructed panoramic view of the lake. Quiet neighborhood which we appreciated. Lake had little activity while we were there (Sunday-Thursday late June) which was great for paddle-boarding and kayaking, which we spent many hours doing. Kitchen was very well stocked with various size pans, skillets, utensils, grill utensils, large serving bowls, a crockpot, even plastic wrap and foil. Outside upper deck had large wooden dining table, which I don't believe is pictured. Key was provided so we didn't need to use access code the entire time and garage opener to park in garage as well. Before and during vacation owner was always very quick to respond to messages. The only negative I want to note that doesn't affect my rating because it's not about the rental but rather Cross Lake in general is that I wish I had known was there was a lot of algae in the lake, so while we did a lot of kayaking and even used the lily pad, we avoided actually swimming in the lake. This rental is about halfway between Duluth and the twin cities, at just a little over an hour to either, so easy to access for a short day trip which made for a good location. Overall a great rental!

Great view and access to water. Tons of amenities available. Big kitchen and dining room. Great master bedroom. Lower level held plenty of room and tv room. Lots of stairs certainly. Great deck views of the water. Owners may rely on occupants to tidy up at end of visit as upon our arrival rugs were not vacuumed and coffee pot were not emptied and cupboards are a lurks chaotic with left over basics or multiple utensils/ tools of the kitchen. Great time was had and would book again.

The house was beautiful, and the location was great! We had rented a boat during out stay, but found out when we got there the dock was not in. Alan was very responsive, and had someone out to set it up quickly, however we did end up in the water to help as it is not a one-person job. The internet wasn't working, and cell service wasn't great - but it helped us stay off our phones. Overall a great weekend, we would stay here again!
