Amazing Inlet Beach, Shopping and Dining: Blue Mar + Free Attraction Tickets!

I called and spoke with a representative who remotely changed the code and I was able to get in. The representative was easy to get in touch with and very quickly remedied the problem. The house was spacious for our group of 8 and was near the beach access. We decided to drive to the beach instead of walking because we did not want to have five kids crossing a very busy highway to get there. The house had beach gear that we were not expecting which meant we did not have to rent items. I would definitely rent from Benchmark again.

Benchmarks management checked in periodically and was quick to respond to our questions. I would recommend this location. We look forward to staying here again.

Had 2 maintenance people there within the 3 days we stayed. Not ok or fair and you did nothing to show you care and no response when asked for a partial refund for the huge inconvenience!

To begin I needed to postpone the trip due to the cancellation of our softball tournament. I realized the funds would not be refunded; however, I immediately reached out to offer what I felt was a fair solution. I requested a postponement credit so I could reschedule at a different time. I had booked 3 days for the tournament stay; I would have rebooked for a week in the future with my wife. When I called Benchmark, they said they would contact the owner. I started this process about 10 days before the trip. I called daily. They said owner did not respond. I expressed the urgency & concern. I never got a call back. One of the other players I was sharing with decided to go so at least we would not waste the pre-paid funds. My friend & his wife arrived in the pouring rain; (6pm) The code did not work upon check in. My friend had dinner reservations and had to leave. I was assured the code was fixed. My friend got back a little after 10pm & the still did not work! He & his wife were not happy! Benchmark did not seem to care & I fail to see how a code did not work. It was after 11pm before they got in after driving 8 hours! Given this, and the no response to my initial inquiry I am requesting a call back and compensation for a day lost at the very least. I have a stellar history with VRBO and this was a horrible experience. Please advise how you intend to move forward. I feel like my concerns, and the code situation were pushed aside because we had already paid. Thanks

Check in process was a mess. Was given the wrong door code, Benchmark buzzed us in, and there were issues getting a working code. But after that everything went well. Location is great for an easy walk to restaurants and beach.

Very nice home, heating system was hard to figure out as was the television stations,no local stations could be found. Very clean and neat,had everything you need but you will need to bring extra bath towels and wash cloths.

Reviewer Comments: With quick and easy access from ECP, this welcome retreat was essentially 5-20 minutes away from everything associated with our attending a destination wedding at Rosemary Beach.The home was exactly as described, plus a bonus. The kitchen now boasts a pod-style coffee maker. Great addition. Clean, comfortable convenient. The three Cs of Blue Mar add up to a perfect A+ rating. And if you happen to be new to the world of vacation home rentals, know that the stellar management company is available for support with any issue — including how to operate the TV. A flawless landing pad for a comfortable family stay near the 30A.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family rented the Blue Mar home for one week, for a family reunion at Inlet / Rosemary Beach. Overall we were satisfied with the home condition and location. It's a short walk to delicious dining options at 30A Ice House, Ghost Crab Pizza and The Donut Hole (our favorite!). A short 10-12 minute walk or 5 minute golf cart ride will bring you directly to Inlet Beach access. For those that wish to venture to Rosemary or Alys Beach it's recommended to do that earlier in the day to secure parking. It's approximately five minute drive. The WiFi worked great, but there is no live TV unless you have streaming service login such as Sling or YouTube TV. This was an unfortunate discovery as we were in the home during the 2024 Paris Olympics :/. The kitchen sink had a leak and was not able to be fixed while we were in the house so were constantly having to change out towels under the sink to keep it from seeping onto the kitchen floor. The windows were also left very streaky from the previous tenant/cleaning crew so the attention to detail could have been a little tighter. The other item that was a disappointment was that only two of the rooms have usable closet space, the other had the closet locked so those guests had to get creative and hang clothes elsewhere around the house. Overall, it was a comfortable home and there are no major gripes -- but it felt more like staying at a friend's home versus a beach getaway for the price paid.

The only downfall was that there wasn’t a pool for my child after the beach. The handrail was extremely dirty. I cleaned i a little it still needs a good polish cleaning. But, the rest of the house was very nice. The management was alway quick to reply. Thank you, Dee

Very quiet, charming neighborhood with similar homes. Loved the beach so close. Plenty of parking at the beach. bathrooms, outside showers, walkway, umbrellas and chairs for rent (the umbrellas are put up for you). Charming town Rosemary Beach with plenty of shopping and places to eat. There is a food market walking distance from the property with fresh seafood, prepared dishes, wine, cheese, all that we needed.!! We absolutely loved this place. The management was very responsive. We will be back again soon !

Blue Mar is a very clean, attractive, and comfortable property located in a safe neighborhood. It is very near to one of the public beach accesses, albeit across the busy highway. I will likely book Blue Mar again.
