THINGS TO KNOW
Due to the elevation of the home and proximity to surrounding bodies of water, excessive flood water heights may be experienced due to manmade and natural causes that exceed the capacity of the stormwater management system maintained by the community and the property.
This house is on well water with a water filtration system.
Linens are provided as part of your vacation rental; however, beds are not made in advance of guest stays.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Very good renovation to the main living level
My wife and I came here for a short vacation with our small dog. We have been coming to Fenwick for at least the last 30 years and still love the location. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the house, and were also impressed that Vacasa took the time to be thoughtful for supplying essential and useful items while there, including sheets/pillowcases, kitchen utensils, etc. It is a nice bayside location that is quiet, which we are thankful for, being that our home is a small farm outside the city. We had always rented previously on an oceanside location, but the bayside location turned out to be just as convenient to all the things we like to do while there. I have to say that Vacasa goes above and beyond the rental experiences that we have had in the past, and does make it feel like a home away from home. We hope to come back next year and enjoy it again!
We don't stay inside much during our vacations. House was clean and bright and had most everything needed. Lots of parking. Check in/out was easy. One suggestion for the owner is adding an outdoor shower for when returning from the beach. We would stay there again.
We enjoyed the home with a small family, toddler, grandparents and dog! It really was a 5 minute walk to the beach and you are close to shops, restaurants, water parks and mini golf. Our family was low key and went to the beach everyday, made dinners and headed to Ocean City once or twice. We prefer quieter nights and that’s the kind of town Fenwick Island is vs the popular Ocean City. Plus the beaches are quieter since it’s more locals and the tourists from the rentals that go to the beach.
New and well-appointed
The House: The house is as described in photos. Nicely decorated and well stocked kitchen. Clean, comfortable and sleeps 6-8 very comfortably. Kitchen well stocked nice dining area and comfortable kitchen. Good LG appliances in kitchen and basement laundry. The location was great too, walk to restaurants, amusements, beach and ample parking. The only issue was the basement flooded during heavy rain which happened twice during our stay. 2-3” collected throughout the basement. It would go out after usually 3-5 hours with a few small puddles left over. Not a showstopper but an annoyance. Vacasa: a note to owner if Vacasa is your management company you have some complaints. The AC return filter might never have been changed. It was so clogged with dust that it effected your AC system. Thermostat was set at 72 but house was 76. After removing the filter it worked fine. I did get a replacement at the local hardware store but recommend ordering more it will save you money on electricity bills. Vacasa utilizes text messages for communication. Sometimes promptly but sometimes not so. They were notified about filter and didn’t even offer to have someone check it. Also lock can be a pain. Electronic Wi-Fi lock sometimes took 5-10 minutes to unlock due to weak signal in area. They need to do better. Overall: very nice house in a great location with some issues that prevent a 5 star across the board. I would stay again though and my grandsons and family had a very nice stay.
Location was great - right on the Delaware/MD border - behind local shops selling food, drinks, ice cream (so good), etc. 2 blocks from beach and crossing the highway was easy. House was perfect for us - beds SUPER comfortable, no issues with central air, linens provided which was such a great feature. Only had to bring beach towels. Kitchen was well equipped with dishes and appliances. Loved sitting on deck at night. Had our dog and places to walk him (either across the street or up and down bay canals) was perfect.
This house was in a wonderful location. The beach was a 5 minute walk across the street and we could look out over the marsh from the house. The kitchen had great cooking appliances and cookware. We were very comfortable.
Our family (2 adults, 10 yo, 8 yo, and 7 month old) and our two dogs REALLY loved this vacation home. I appreciated that all of the living space was on one floor and the entire space was recently renovated and updated very nicely. The home was perfectly outfitted with everything we needed and included extra bonuses like games and puzzles for the kids. The kitchen and dining space is great and we also LOVED the porch with sunset views over the water. The beds were SUPER comfortable and I appreciated all the attention to detail throughout the home. The location is WONDERFUL... it allows for calm/quiet mornings walking my dogs and strolling the cute neighborhood, but was also within walking distance to so many places to eat and things to do... and just a 5 min walk to the beach!! What wasn't great was the management of the property. We arrived and could not get into the home. The electronic door lock to the main door was broken, the key box was broken and key missing, and ultimately after phoning we had to use a garage code to enter. On the last night of our stay there was a thunderstorm that flooded the groud floor area (garage and laundry) pretty badly. all of our things that were packed and ready to load into the car for checkout and all of our beach things were SOAKED in the flooding and it caused a lot of issues and stress for us on our final morning of our trip. We reached out to the management company several times and they didn't care or respond at all.
My husband and I have spent many summers in Fenwick Island and loved staying here with our puppy. The location is perfect for walking to all the amazing restaurants (One Coastal, Twilley’s Willeys, Ocean Side, Surf’s Edge, Matt’s Fish Camp, Our Harvest & Warren’s Station, just to name a few) as well as great shopping at Indigo Octopus and Beach Market & Bikinis N More. Families will love proximity to the water park & mini golf. The house had a lovely deck, fully renovated interior and comfy furnishings. Truly had a great week even with the September rains.
Our family had never been to this area before so we didn’t know what to expect. We loved it! This house is even better in person. There is plenty of space for a family to gather at the beautiful kitchen table or enjoy breakfast on the deck overlooking the inlet. It was an easy 5 minute walk to the beach and is within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. We were very happy that the house was tucked away on a dead end street. You are close to everything but not right on a busy road and it was very quiet. Don’t hesitate to book this wonderful property.
Never judge a book by its cover. This 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house was ideal for my wife and I along with my 2 daughters (18 and 22) and their friends. The perfect location in the heart of fenwick. Surprisingly quiet, we could easily walk to the beach, the shops and restaurants. The newly renovated house had everything we needed. The double bunk queen beds were a pleasant surprise. Plenty of parking and lawn space to play cornhole or throw a football. Also a nice deck overlooking the canal . Highly recommend.
