Children have plenty of space for outdoor activities on the large plot. The car-free and child-friendly Bratten beach with its fine sand offers ideal conditions for relaxing days by the sea. The harbour town of Frederikshavn with its exotic palm beach atmosphere is a great day trip destination. Other exciting experiences include the impressive Råbjerg Mile hiking dune, the Råbjerg Mose bird sanctuary, the Eagleworld eagle reserve, the Ålbæk Klitplantage dune plantation and charming Skagen. In summer, the market in Aalbæk with its numerous stalls and live music is well worth a visit. Nature lovers can explore the protected landscapes of Åsted Ådal and Katsig Bakker.
