Always Sunny in Chelan at The Lookout at Lake Chelan

Everything was fine, but the deposit hasn't been returned yet, I don't know why.

The home was perfect and met all our needs.Maintenance was very helpful when we had empty propane tanks & a minor issue with the ice maker on the fridge. Bummed that the wine fridge was not in working order, but was not that big of deal. Always Sunny In Chelan was situated a very short walk from the vineyard pool and we spent quite a bit of time there as well as visited the many different activities on site during the 4th of July weekend & beyond. The shuttle service was so handy and we used it often to visit the marina. We will definitely be back again!

This home was the perfect oasis. Beautifully decorated for the holidays with everything you could possibly need. I hope to go back in the summer to enjoy all the outdoor space.

Overall we had a good stay but would like to highlight a couple things for prospective renters. 1.) The beautiful view of the lake also comes with being close to the main road for Chelan so road noise is real when you’re on the deck, sitting at the fire pit, or in the hot tub. Not a deal breaker for us, just wasn’t as private as other houses in the community. 2.) Hot tub cover was a mess. Water logged/moldy on inside , broken, and VERY heavy to try and take on and off. 3.) EV charger was an awesome amenity!4.) The water is VERY hot. If you have kiddos beware when they shower or wash hands.5.) Primary bathroom shower controls are backwards. Dial the water to the cold control for hot water and vis versa. Stood in a very cold shower for a while thinking it just needed to warm up. 🤦‍♀️You can’t go wrong with staying here. The house was comfortable for 3 people and we loved the community pools, pickleball courts, and fields. We will be back to the Lookout next Spring Break!

The kitchen was well appointed, plenty of towels, comfortable beds, great Wi-Fi and tv and well situated int the community. Easy walk to vineyard pool, Vin du Lac Bistro and community shuttle. The a/c worked wonders, as it was so hot outside! Our only caution...leave the bedrooms doors open a crack at night...so the hall thermostat senses the cooling in the bedrooms...otherwise it can get chilly. But, there were plenty of blankets and bedding, so we did stay warm. We enjoyed sitting on the various patio/porches...maybe add a couple more chairs on the front porch, as that was a heavenly place to sit in the mornings. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay...and would choose Always Sunny agin!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First off the house itself is very nice and well appointed, so are the resort grounds. What I didn’t appreciate are that the photos in the listing depicted a view of lake and since the photos were taken a new home is being built that currently cuts the view of the lake by half. I wouldn’t have booked the home knowing this was the case. We have stayed at this resort before and really we’re looking for a substantial lake view. Next there were issues with the air conditioning that I called about and the individuals answering the phone were pleasant and helpful as can be. They sent some out out later that day to fix it but unfortunately it didn’t get fixed and we had to sleep in bedroom that was a 59 degrees. The HVAC was not distributing the air conditioning evenly throughout the house. The website states that the resort may be during general construction and that there may be construction noise. But again, the photos of the home were not representing and construction nearby. So, unfortunately two homes directly across from us and another home directly on the side of this house were doing loud construction starting at 7am. So loud that you can’t sleep past then and enjoy your vacation and want vacate the house every day because of the noise. I’m mostly disappointed in the director of the resort. I let the main office know about these issues and she said the director would call me. After not hearing from the director after a day I let her know I still wanted to talk to that person. Well, it’s now been over three weeks and no call back. For the price we paid we should of been able to enjoy the view which was not represented correctly and that level of noisy construction, starting before designated construction hours ruined our ability to enjoy the home. If I book another house here I will be sure to ask the main office if the view is now obstructed or if there are building any homes in the immediate area. Director please m

Three bedrooms with en suites on the top floor; a main floor with open kitchen, dining, living, and a powder room; and a lower level with a bunk room, den w sofa bed, and full bath - this house has room for all! It was nicely decorated, sparkling clean, and felt brand new. In January, it was nice to have our own hot tub. The views of the vineyard, lake and town were awesome! In summer, we’d live out on the decks. This house is a stand-out in a community full of great homes. Will definitely return!
