Alohilani - Private 5 Bedroom Villa w/ Pool & 5 AIR CONDITIONED BEDROOMS

Beautiful place to stay! Clean, great location.

The house was wonderful! We had plenty of space for two families without being cluttered and the common areas are great. Outstanding location!

PROS: Great location: 10-15min walk to Poipu Beach (turtles) and Shipwreck Beach (Heritage Trail) which are both must see’s. House is very spacious and was perfect size for our group of 8 (4 couples). Private pool / patio area was great. Huge Master BA was a plus. AC worked well in 3 BR. LOTS of ceiling and portable fans. Access to the Athletic club was nice as well - we utilized the pickleball courts, Pilates class, and exercise equipment. CONS: AC did not work in 2 of the BRs. We alerted Vicki the first day, but it wasn’t fixed until our last day (night 6 of 6). Common area of house does not have AC - cross ventilation is OK but can get warm during the day. Roosters crow at 5am, so do not recommend sleeping with windows open. 2 BA had plumbing issues: One BA had a toilet pipe that leaked into laundry room ceiling and was fixed the next day. The other BA had issues with its toilet continuously running, sometimes getting water on the BA floor and was not addressed before we left. When another toilet got plugged - we could’ve used a plunger but could not find one anywhere in the house, so got creative to unclog. There was an “electrical issue / blinking light” on the solar panel inverter that was addressed the next day. However, after that was fixed, the lights in the Master BA sometimes would flicker.

The house was as advertised. It was beautiful, the location was terrific and we felt safe in the house. There were 10 of us with ages ranging from 14 to 83. The kitchen was terrific. Only negatives were the toilet in the powder room didn’t work while we were there and the water coming out of the faucets was very hot. We had trouble drawing cold water from the kitchen sink.

The home was perfect for our family of 10. It was a short walk from the beach. The kitchen was well equipped with anything and everything you could think of! Beach toys, boogie boards, beach chairs were provided. Staff was very responsive to our needs. We’ll definitely stay at this location another time

Beautiful property, well maintained, lots of amenities and supplies. Very clean. Appreciated that there was a no shoe policy as it kept things more clean.

Great house! Kitchen is well stocked! Lots of beach toys for the 3 yr old. Pool was a plus and so private. We loved this place!

We and our 4 married adult children (5 couples) spent 10 nights at Alohilani for our Christmas/New Year holiday reunion. It was perfect for us. Plenty of space and seating inside and out. Great location within walking distance of beaches. We would highly recommend and visit here again!

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay! The location was very convenient and was walking distance to Shipwreck beach. It was a short drive to Old Koloa Town for supplies and shopping, and we were there a lot. The kitchen was well equipped, though the amount of starter basics was limited to mostly oil, salt, pepper. There were plenty of pans, plates, prep tools and serving/storing dishes and appliances. The fridge was a good size and worked well. The back patio was lovely with a fully fenced and well-landscaped area. The grill worked well and there was plenty of seating -- perfect for home-cooked outdoor dinners, which we enjoyed on most nights. We also appreciated all the other STUFF that makes a beach vacation a packing nightmare. This included beach towels and beach umbrellas, and bathrooms pre-stocked with basic toiletries (though we would have appreciated a few more paper products throughout the house). Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms were must for our 9 adults. The house was spacious enough for people to spread out. Porches and balconies were nice as was decor. Fans and AC worked well. The only thing that keeps this from being a perfect review were a few broken items that would make us hesitate about booking again if not fixed. For example we had a party of 9, and the sofa bed was broken, so our 9th person slept on just half an opened couch. But the hosts were responsive to texts, and if they verified repairs we would definitely highly recommend!

The house was large enough for every family to have a room, great living and dinning areas and a wonderful pool. We BBQed every night and enjoyed Poipu Beach. We definitely will return.
