Stayed Jan 30, 2026Lots of room, fantastic house, the hot tub and game room in the basement were highlights. Very clean and well organized. Rick did an amazing job communicating with us. We will be coming back in the summer to experience the pool.

Stayed Oct 1, 2025Check in was wonderful and Rick was very responsive with the communication throughout the booking process, during our stay and after. The house was perfect for our large family. Plenty of room and the amenities were great, from using the pool and hot tub to the game room downstairs. We used the fire pit several nights which was large and very relaxing. As soon as you arrived at the property you felt like you were at home. There were plenty of towels and the kitchen is stocked very well with everything you need to cook for a large group. including two crock pots, any size pot and pans you need and tons of serving dishes. All of my boys are between 6’4 and 6’6 and they all commented that their beds were very comfortable. The house is located very close to town and yet while you are on the property you feel like you are secluded. The home and grounds are well cared for. It has a truly relaxing atmosphere. We definitely recommend a stay here!

Our family loved the game room and kitchen table was just the right size for family card games. Kitchen was very well stocked. Prompt reply from host when questions were asked. Would recommend

Stayed May 1, 2025We absolutely loved staying at Allegan Acres. The house is fantastic, with a games room downstairs and loads of sleeping options. We opted for the heated pool and spa, and even though it was 45-55 degrees outside the pool was a big feature for us this year.The property owner is responsive, polite and seemed to genuinely care about the quality of our stay. Fantastic.Would stay again, have stayed again and will stay again.

Stayed Mar 21, 2025Had at great week at the Acres, linking up with friends and family. March is definitely offseason for Fennville, but there was still plenty to do both in the area and up in Holland. Everybody had a great time and we'll very likely be back. We did have an issue with the weather making wifi a challenge, but the owner was responsive and worked with us to address the issue.

Stayed Nov 1, 2024my very first impression was that the yard and exterior of the house are absolutely gorgeous. my second impression was that the interior is even more impressive. we just finished a bachelor party weekend here, and everything was immaculate about this place. There are plenty of places to sleep, there is plenty of room to hang out both indoors and outdoors, and there are plenty of things to do, already here. We had a billiards tournament, we played cornhole, we sat in the hot tub, we listened to music on the in-home Bluetooth sound system. We cooked breakfast burritos on the incredible 6-burner gas stove, and we cooked burgers and brats on the outdoor grill. There are PLENTY of cooking utensils, plates, cups, silverware, etc All you need to do is being the food itself and you're completely taken care of. I brought my own Dutch oven just out of caution and didn't even take it out of my car, and I love my dutch oven! The basement has a pool table, a ping pong table, a smart TV, a bar with barstools, a very comfortable couch, an arcade system with several games, and a bedroom with space for 3-4 people depending on who would share a bed with each other. my only wish is that there was a bathroom in the basement, but it's really not too big of a hassle to walk up the stairs to use the bathroom, so it's barely an issue. I'm running out of space for my overall review, but to wrap it up, this place is incredible and I FULLY plan on coming back here at some point

Stayed Oct 3, 2024LOVE LOVE LOVE this house and cannot wait to come back! I rented this house for my husband‘s 50th birthday celebration. We had between 18 and 20 people there over 4 days. The house is even better than described in the description and the pictures. It is stunning, beautiful, clean, cozy, inviting, etc., etc. etc. I have stayed at many VRBO rentals, but I have never stayed at one where we literally wanted for nothing. This house was fully stocked with everything you could possibly think of needing to entertain and live comfortably, including kitchen utensils, appliances, bath towels, pool towels, shampoos, conditioners, pool toys, games, mattresses, linens, extra blankets, lighting, food storage, refrigerator and freezer storage, parking - And that’s just everything I can think of just right off the top of my head. I’m sure there are more. If I could leave a 7 to 10 star review I would but five is the top of the scale for them so that’s what I’m giving.

Rick was also great to work with as we lost a watch during our stay and quickly found it and took time out of his day to return it to us. And was always in great communication with us before, during and after our stay

The pool and hot tub were clean and the heated pool was warm even on cooler nights. The owner was very communicative and prompt with responses. It was the perfect oasis and we cant wait to go back!

Stayed Jul 13, 2024My Family and I, 13 total, spent a week at this fabulous property. There was plenty of room to accommodate us. The pool area was beautiful and super relaxing and the house was supplied with everything you would ever need. Probably the best thing is the location. Very private yet a 15 minute drive to all that the Saugatuck area has to offer.
