The functional kitchen is the gathering place as it is furnishedwith a small table and chairs so you can cook while enjoying each other's company. The cozy wood-burning stove invites good conversation and fellowship. The living room has plenty of seating and is decorated in warm, calm colors. The bathroom offers a spacious bathtub where you can enjoy a nice, warm bath and relax completely.



The house's garden and terrace are something special. The secluded terrace allows you to get close to the fields and grazing animals. Here you can watch the sunset, follow the abundant birdlife and hear the frogs croak as they breed. The garden offers everything from an atmospheric fire pit, cozy hammock and outdoor games to a glass-enclosed terrace, perfect for those windy but sunny days.



The area around Helnæs Made is scenic and invites you for many bike rides and walks. If you turn right at the meadow area, you'll hit the beach with clear water and clean sandy bottom.

Helnæs has a small ice cream parlor, a campsite, Helnæs Inn and not least the beautifully restored Helnæs Mill. A few kilometers from Helnæs you will find good restaurants with different cuisines. If you want a little diversity and culture, you can visit local galleries or listen to music in the Helnæs Culture and Music Association at the old vicarage.
