Alki Beach Bungalow

We traveled to Seattle for my daughter’s graduation from UW and decided to try someplace outside U district. The bungalow in Alki Beach is a gem! The property is charming and is in a nice location. Quiet but also close to beach and restaurants that are easy to walk to. Pam and Tom were gracious hosts who clearly want their guests to have a wonderful experience. They were super responsive to a few questions we had. I would definitely stay here again!

This place was absolutely amazing, I can't even begin to express just how awesome this bungalow was. It was by far the cleanest and best cared for rental I've ever experienced, the garden, the decor and obvious upkeep of the property, it just truly shines. We stayed upstairs and it was perfect for a couple with an 18mo, she loved the floorplan and climbing up and down the deck stairs. It was a really nice neighborhood walk to the beach and many great restaurants. But what made it special was just how homey it was, the decor and all the antique and unique items throughout the house, we just felt right at home. The sound system for the TV was also fantastic, the hot tub was a great luxury, and we just loved living a laid back beach lifestyle with no worries at all. The epitome of a perfect VRBO experience, I would rate it far beyond 5 stars!

We loved staying at the bungalow! The property was beautiful, peaceful, and very close to the coast/restaurants and shopping. Pam and Tom were so speedy getting back to us when we had questions. The hot tub and deck system were lovely and very relaxing. The kitchen was equipped with anything we needed and decorated beautifully. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

A lot of love and effort is put in to the home to make it very comfortable .

The house was so cute and had all the little things we needed. We loved the hot tub, fish, and short distance to the beach!

Beautiful home in the best possible location. We were able to get to the city quickly for underground tours and a hockey game. But we loved the garden and relaxing in the hot tub. We made sure to go to Vashon Island and find the Dambo troll and the closer trolls.

The bungalow is awesome and decorated so nice . Having to go outside to access other bedroom was different. 300 a night seemed high compared to my daughters rental same time frame where they had view of the sound and we had no view ( except the backyard which is beautiful) is the only reason we didn't give it a 5/5.

Very thoughtful set up for the visit in all catagories.

Great comfortable house with lots of extras such as herbs and spices, coffee and olive oil. The garden is very peaceful and a terrific deck. We had a car for part of our stay and appreciated the bus at the end of the street, although it is a bit of a hike to downtown. Great neighbourhood and hosts were very flexible re check in and check out times.

Lovely cottage with incredibly comfortable beds. The space is open, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed. The koi pond was a charming touch, and although we didn’t use the hot tub this time, we hope to on a future visit. This is an ideal spot for exploring South Seattle, conveniently located, with the beach and neighborhood both within walking distance. The hosts were exceptional, responding promptly to all our requests. Everything about our stay was smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

We loved the house. It was charming with beautiful gardens to stroll thru on the way to the beach. Loved that you could walk to the beach and restaurants. Also, convenient to public transportation.

The photos do not do this property justice. This home is warm, cozy and full of character; from the gardens to the local art to the amenities, it was SO CHARMING! The neighborhood is beautiful and close to great restaurants. Pam was super responsive and kind. 5 stars!

The property was everything the VRBO site showed. The bungalow was lovely and the gardens even lovelier. I loved feeding the koi! We spent many hours on the deck and enjoyed the near proximity to both restaurants AND the beach! If we ever get back to Seattle, we will stay here again!!

What a beautiful bungalow! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was beautiful. A close walk to the beach and our favorite Sunfish restaurant! Loved being able to feed the fish in the pond too.

The whole family enjoyed this bungalow as home base for our Seattle vacation. We loved being able to retreat from the city center to the much calmer vibe of west Seattle. The place had the perfect layout for everyone to stretch their legs. We walked and biked to the beach many times. Took the free shuttle at 63rd and Alki to the west Seattle water taxi pier for a beautiful ferry ride to downtown! The porch was perfect in the evenings! Hosts were gracious. Wonderful stay!

We very much enjoyed having a serene place to land on our busy weekend in Seattle. Feeding the fish was an added bonus ;)

Everything about our stay was absolutely perfect. We would definitely choose this again if we come back to the area. Pam and Tom are the most thoughtful and welcoming hosts. Their bungalow is beautiful and comfortable. The neighborhood is nice, quiet, and safe. Alki Beach area is great, and easily walkable. And you’re just a convenient and enjoyable water taxi ride from downtown Seattle. Totally recommend.

The house was lovely with artwork done by one of the owners The house was spacious with comfy beds and the best stocked kitchen that I've ever seen! The gardens were beautiful and we had fun every day feeding the Koi in the small pond The hot tub was a bonus too! I highly recommend this beautiful bungalow!The owners were always available and very kind and generous !

This home was beautifully put together. Very relaxing and felt content staying there. Highly recommend to those who want to feel relaxed and love being around greenery. Gorgeous plants everywhere outside. My five year old and I had a wonderful time looking up names of plants . I’d definitely stay there again. It’s a short sweet walk to Alki beach.

Bungalow was so cozy. We were very comfortable and relaxed. Great property owners who gave lots of info without imposing.

We stayed in mid-April and were truly impressed by the beautiful garden. Relaxing on both the back deck and front porch was a highlight of our visit. The hot tub was exceptional—one of the best I’ve experienced. The home was thoughtfully stocked, and the beds were incredibly comfortable.

This is one of the best! Good location. Well equipped. Comfortable. The stairs situation could have been explained better.

My family had a great experience staying here. They rated it as 5 star. Nice quiet neighborhood with an easy 10 minute walk to the beach area and some beautiful sunsets. House is bright and roomy with cute and unique decorative items and books. Yard has lovely variety of plantings. Well appointed with appliances, beach towels, extra bathing suits and hot tub. Pam and Tom were great hosts, easy to communicate with and most helpful about answering questions.

My brother, sister-in-law from Colorado and myself from Portland OR were visiting Seattle to see family and spend time with our new great niece/granddaughter. This little bungalow was perfect! Each of us had our separate space and there was plenty of room for family dinners and visits. We walked to the beach everyday and enjoyed some of the Alki restaurants and views. We will definitely stay here again!

This home is so special! The decor is wonderful and split level design allows for privacy for 2 couples with beautiful grounds for shared outdoor time. We loved the area! So quiet and access to walking along the shore of the Sound was amazing. Owner was very friendly and helpful. We plan to come back on another occasion!!

In seattle for a business trip. This is a fantastic rental. Clean, updated, and fun! I can not wait to return and rent from Pam and Tom again!

We loved the bungalow. Perfect spot to walk down to the water and enjoy a cup of coffee, relax at the house, visit family in west Seattle, and a night out downtown. We will stay again!

The home was just right for 4 lady friends to meet up! Communication with Pamela was awesome! I have told family and other friends about the home and I hope to stay there again! It was great!

e about the host: We had a wonderful stay at this charming home near Alki Beach! The house was super cozy and had so much character. It was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need, from kitchen essentials to extra blankets and towels, which made us feel right at home. While it’s a couple of blocks from the beach, we enjoyed the short walk and loved exploring the nearby restaurants, arcade, and shops. The host Pam was extremely accommodating and helpful, making sure everything was perfect for our stay and responding quickly to any questions we had. The amenities were fantastic, and the location was perfect for a quickbeach getaway. We would absolutely stay here again!

Alki Beach Bungalow is the perfect place to stay in the Seattle area. Close to lots of places and yet far enough for rest relaxation. I had thexmost amaxing time and definitely will share with family and friends looking for a great place to stay.

Pam asked us who was staying so she could tailor the trip. With separate upstairs and downstairs entrances, the backyard feels like part of the living space, including the koi by the car and the hot tub on the deck. She made up a twin bed off the upstairs bedroom for our daughter, who also delighted in the Halloween decorations and small notes. We're from the area, and so, we loved the access to Alki, the easy cruise up to the Junction, the time at Whale Tail park and Schmitz Park, and the neighborhood cats who greet everyone. Also, floor heating is the *best* in the Seattle weather.

Pam and Tom have the best location and such a sweet spot. We will be back!

The property was as described, a charming bungalow near Alki Beach. Property manager was quick to reply and very accommodating. We were lucky enough to have some beautiful weather for sightseeing in Seattle☺️ we loved all the little collection pieces in the bungalow, and the beach vibe! We would love to return.

We very much enjoyed the quiet comfort of our stay. We loved using the ferry to hop back and forth to downtown Seattle. We look forward to another Seattle visit.

Very nice bungalow in a quiet neighborhood. Clean, clean, clean! You could eat off the floors.

The vibe of the Alki Cottage was just what we needed. Hit a husky then a seahawk game on back to back days and coming back to the quiet neighborhood and welcoming cottage was the best decision i could have made for our stay. It was my wife and father in law and the separate loving/sleeping spots were great! Thank you to Pam and Tom

Will stay there again when we go back to the area. Easy walk to anything you need including the beach.
