Stayed Dec 21, 2025We had a wonderful stay at the Alder House, two adults and two dogs. The house was comfortable, and the owner was very thoughtful in designing the home. The house is equipped with everything you'll need for a comfortable stay. We had a beautiful welcome basket on arrival and it was also decorated for the holidays. We enjoyed a low-key Christams getaway! Great place.

Stayed Oct 18, 2024We rented this home as a place to stay during Parent's weekend at Plymouth State. The location was perfect. The home was clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable. We will be staying here again. We all loved it.

Stayed Aug 22, 2024The Alder house was the perfect place for my husband, dog, 9 month old and parents! We stayed at the property to attend a wedding at the Owls nest. Kelly was a responsive, attentive and gracious host! The house was immaculate and very organized. Every detail was thought about. There is essentially two living areas making it ideal for multiple families. The yard is absolutely gorgeous and well tended to. Our pup loved the big yard and there were so many accessible walking/hiking trails near by. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! Highly recommend the Alder house!!! We will be back!
