Stayed Aug 1, 2025This is a nicely renovated property. New, well equipped kitchen, new bathrooms. Gorgeous views from house. Easy water access. We enjoyed canoeing and paddle boarding from the beach in front of the house. Comfortable beds, great internet. Easy access to quaint village of Blue Hill which has multiple dining options.There is a dock at the property’s shoreline but water levels in Alamoosook are too low to be able to use it. Still, the dock is a great place to sit - there are benches at the end - and enjoy the view. Multiple seating areas on lawn leading to water including a fire pit area. Great for s’mores.Bedroom/bath configuration is two bedrooms and one bath upstairs, two bedrooms (one of which contains the washer and dryer) and one bathroom downstairs.All in all, a wonderful stay with adult children and two teenagers. Property could benefit from having dressers in the bedrooms, rather than small shelf units, and better lighting in the living roomAmanda, the property manager, was terrific in promptly responding to my questions and dealing with the one small electrical issue we encountered.
