Agriturismo with pool and view close to the center of Castellina in Chianti

We had an amazing time at this property! Perfect for our honeymoon. Hosts were very pleasant and made us feel like locals.

A beautiful stay for a great visit to Chianti. Linda was very kind and helpful during our stay. The property is beautiful and the pool is wonderful. Super close to the village for groceries and dining options. Great jumping off point for visiting wineries and close to Florence.

Great Agriturismo in the heart of Tuscany. Linda, the host, was very helpful and kind! Large and quiet swimming pool which is perfect to relax and unwind. Very close to the village Castellina in Chianti, and just a short drive away from most larger places in Tuscany.

Very nice stay

Our stay was wonderful aside from a few manageable challenges. Our apartment was lovely, clean, and spacious, with a nice bedroom, living area, bathroom, and outdoor sitting area / view. The view, however, was 80% blocked by a long green construction fence because of recent storm damage, while the view from the pool was stunning as advertised. The location was central to Tuscany, convenient with easy access by car to many beautiful Tuscan destinations, with the local town wonderful as advertised. Owner communications with specific directions to the property were delayed, causing confusion upon arrival which unfortunately was at night, and given the rough nature of the property access road, resulted in minor damage to our rental vehicle, but once we knew which driveway to enter, all was well. The kitchen was functional and supported all our mealtime needs. Guests just need to come well stocked with any coffee and food condiments required. Navigating Florence or any of the local towns, was a challenge for two specific reasons. Low Emissions Zones, if violated, result in traffic-camera based tickets, and it's not clear how to keep from violating these zones.. A constant issue. Parking was also a challenge, but garages in Florence were available albeit a bit pricy. Parking near mountaintop towns were hit and miss...some had well marked lots, some not. All in all, a very nice property, wonderful host, and a lovely stay with a few manageable challenges.

Great view from patio. Gracious host. Close to shopping, restaurants and wineries. Car or driver needed except for those adventurous.

My husband and I had a fantastic two weeks here. Linda is a lovely lady and wonderful host. The apartment was pefect a d very relaxing. The pool was perfect and the views breathtaking. We hope to return to this beautiful place.
