Against The Wind A, Oceanfront Home, Amazing Pier View, Duplex

We had a good stay despite rain the entire time we were there. The house worked well for our family. The living room furniture and a few other things were a little outdated but still worked fine. The kitchen was stocked basically but we still needed several other things so if you are big cookers, you might need a few more things. The bedrooms were all nice and beds were all comfortable. Easy check-in process but be ready for some steep stairs up to the unit. The only difficulty we had was the group on the other side of the unit was wide open and drunk the majority of the time they were there, but that was just an unlucky time for us to be there between them and the weather. Despite that, we would rent here again, especially with the location of the house.

The location right next to the pier means live music every night while you relax in the rocking chairs on the porch. Step down right onto the sand, minutes from the MarshWalk and great restaurants is great. It's the perfect place to stay!

There was coffee grounds left in the pot with a dirty carafe. Ants everywhere. Ceiling & furniture on deck was moldy. Property was extremely noisy at night. All of the beds were extremely hard. You can smell the rent-a-johns that were on the public access right next to the property. Not a good choice for families!

In fact, we had a conversation about if we win the lottery, we are buying this house. Haha! It's got lots of room, a great open kitchen and a gorgeous view being right on the sand. There was a place for everyone to hang out comfortably and being right next to the pier, we had live music every night. It made for a great vacation!

The house has a great set up for bedrooms not so great for the living space.There is an extremely large table that takes up most of the living room/dining room so the couches are laid in a vertical pattern as opposed to an L for easy conversation. They are also VERY OLD and in desperate need of replacement. The kitchen has enough plates to fed an army but no where near enough pans to cook for that many. There are a ton of pots. Recommend cleaning out the entire kitchen and getting a basic set of pots and pans that are more functional. The staff was fantastic and very responsive. In terms of cleanliness there are real hardwood floors through the property that just trap sand. We bought a broom and dust pan to try to keep up but its a losing battle. I think a little updating would go a long way with this property.

We had a great time! It was a perfect place for a big family vacation. Lots of delicious places to eat and the beach was clean!

We've stayed here three times in the last 6 years and we can see the wear and tear on this residence. The owners need to put a few dollars into it to improve the customer’s experience. A side did not have an outside shower or hose hookup. Vegetation is overgrown preventing the use of the B sides shower. Floors need refinishing. Deck and rails need cleaning (pictures depicted in ad are very old). Suggest bringing the shower and hose hookup onto the rear deck to reduce the amount of sand getting into the house. Reduce the overabundance of kitchenware that has accumulated. I can get more detailed, but you get the picture.
