Aftonshire Cottage - Heart of Afton's Wine Region

Very cool cottage. We were not there very long but really enjoyed it.

Very clean & comfortable. Everything went smoothly!

Cute little house, perfect for two couples weekend getaway. The house was clean, comfortable and had the kitchen essentials to make simple meals. This house is very conveniently located to plenty of wineries, breweries and distilleries. We enjoyed food at Belties and Paulies Pig out and found plenty of short hiking trails in the area.

Excellent, quiet location. We did a couple of hikes, within 30 min of the property. We appreciated the well stocked, high quality amenities. It was very peaceful!

The layout is perfect for a small family. It felt very nice and clean. They also provided everything we needed. The washer and dryer were very convenient. Only thing is that everything felt far. No nearby Walmart, target, quick drive thru, etc.

Charming cottage, perfect for 2 couples spending the weekend in Virginia's wine region. We loved watching the horses immediately behind the cottage while enjoying morning coffee. Another highlight was walking across the road to have a casual, delicious dinner at the Scratch Kitchen while listening to a band. We were a short drice to numerous wineries and loved walking the Blue Ridge tunnel trail. GREAT property and we would love to visit again!

This cottage was a wonderful getaway for us! The space was exactly as shown in the listing and the small kitchen served us well for some nights eating in. There are a few horses on the property next door that were so fun to watch! The property is on a busy road but the windows are very well insulated and noise at night was never an issue. The beds are quite firm and the bedding traps heat, so if you’re a cool sleeper maybe bring your own blanket. The house also came stocked with all the soaps and things which is always appreciated. All in all it was a great week relaxing in Afton.

Place was nice an quite and had a good view of the horses outback. The location was great and close to restaurants and wineries.

We came out for a wedding and stayed in the cute home. Everything was as advertised. Well stocked with the essentials, clean, convenient, and comfortable. The location is great for Skyline Drive, restaurants, and sights. We really enjoyed our stay.

Better than advertised. Kitchen has everything needed. Perfect for two couples. Comfy firm beds. Beautiful views- enjoyed watching the horses out back and the roaming deer. The brewery across the street has a fantastic scratch kitchen food truck - and great staff. Would love to book again in the near future.
