Afternoon Delight: Toast the beauty of the river from the waterfront deck

Wonderful stay at a charming property that was meticulously clean and very well appointed for a exceptionally comfortable home away from home!

The house was beautiful! It was close enough to Salem that we could enjoy our day there, and then return for a relaxing evening on the porch or watching Salem themed movies in the house. The owners were great and even helped us with our luggage as we were packing up to leave. We would definitely stay here again if we come back!

The house was absolutely perfect!!! It was incredibly clean and everything was organized beautifully. The house even came with coffee k-cups and sugar. What a welcoming surprise after a long drive. I highly recommend this fantastic home. We did a fun girls get away weekend with the five of us.. Everyone raved about the beautiful house. We would definitely stay there again!

This was without a doubt one of the cleanest, most organized and lovliest VRBO's that we have ever stayed in. Afternoon Delight was perfect in every sense. While most of our trips typically use the property as home base for sleeping and eating, we actually spent nearly all of our time sitting out on the lovely deck watching the tide roll in/out and chatting with our family. We actually canceled a trip to Salem to tour the town because we didn't find anything there compelling enough to lure us away from this haven. This place is located near a small park where we enjoyed nice walks and met some of the friendliest people...not sure whoever said that Northerners were unfriendly...clearly they never visited Beverly, MA. There's lots of great restaurants, grocery, coffee shops and ice cream places nearby, so your only challenge will be to pick one. We will most definitely be back again as our son is studying in Boston...I only hope that there will be vacancy here.

This is the first time we were ever pleasantly surprised that the pictures did NOT do justice. This property is pristine, it's beautifully located and as homey as can be. We absolutely loved it and will stay again! There was only 1 issue and that was that there is only 1 shower in the house and we had 4 adults getting ready for a wedding:-) The oversized tub upstairs is a wonderful soaking tub, though!!

We had the best weather during our stay and the deck was the best part. The neighborhood was quiet and the house is situated with amazing views of the Crane River. We saw egrets, ducks, and hawks. The house was spotless when we arrived and all cabinets/drawers were labeled. The house is close to restaurants and grocery stores. We would stay here again for sure.

We have stayed in several VRBO properties and this is home was among one of the cleanest. There is definite pride of ownership! The location was perfect for us and the deck overlooking the water was an added bonus. Communications were excellent and immediate with rental agency. The only downside was the pillows - a bit flat for all of us, but that is a preference, perhaps. Will stay here again, most definitely! Thank you:)
