Affordable lodging in the center of Canaan Valley, The Cross Eyed Cricket!

Overall ok...house needs a lot of work. Master bath toliet is falling through the floor. The floor under it on the left side is soft snd in need of repair. Ceiling in living area stained from bathroom above it leaking. I stopped using it when I discovered the damage. You can look at it and see its sitting downhill. The TV is horrible to try to operate. Needs step by step instructions on the living room TV. I sit in one of the dining room chairs and it felt like it was ready to collapse under me. No air conditioning and master bedroom doesnt have a window or a screen on sliding door. Very uncomfortable for sleeping. Mattress was also very uncomfortable. Street needs a circle at end for easier way to back out of driveway or an area to back into to get out without backing down street to empty driveway. We probably won't rent here again due to everything listed plus stairway was too long and steep for me, which I realize you can't do anything about. Thank you, Judy.

Great location and accommodations exactly what we expected. Good place to take the whole family

The location is by far the best thing about this rental. Other than that I like that the beds where comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook meals.

One recommended update would be to put a screen door on the master bedroom balcony door. We missed not being able to have a window open at night in the bedroom. Short drive to trails and a nice gravel walking trail (about half a mile loop) right off of the property. Great kitchen with just about everything you need to cook (not a lot of restaurants in the area). We would come back.

Our family loved our stay at Snow Diggs while we skied at Timberline. Just a minute away from the slopes. The house had so many bath towels I never had to do a wash. The kitchen was equipped with every utensil I needed. Having the washer and dryer on the first floor was so convenient too. Our family of 4 was super comfortable in this rental.

Very spacy cabin, that accomodated two families of 5 people each. It's about two minutes drive from the sky resort. They provide all cooking pans and utensils,including coffee pot, dishwasher, washer and dryer. The cabin is old but everything is functional, could be a little bit cleaner but the price is reasonable. They also provided all fire wood and water was very hot and also the heater was working good. Plenty of parking space. I would definitely go back in the future
