Adventurer's perch with lake access, Milky Way views, & hot tub - dog-friendly

Great house, wonderful location!

This was a beautiful property, lots of room for everyone, a great view of the lake off the deck, a giant hot tub, and fire pit for smores at night. The beds were all comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed.

The neighborhood is close to everything you need, but you never feel like you are too close to your neighbors. The property and neighborhood are ideal if you plan to bring pets and the private dock is a big bonus. The house is clean, spacious, and well equipped for a long stay. We would definitely consider booking again. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic time at Brown Bear Lodge! The home had plenty of space for our large family to spread out comfortably, and the views of the lake were absolutely beautiful. One of the highlights was spending hours on the very large deck, relaxing and enjoying the peaceful scenery. We loved having access to the dock, which made it easy to keep our rented pontoon boat right on the water. The lake access was just a short walk away, and we spotted lots of deer throughout our stay, which was a fun bonus. The property itself is quite large, with lots of room for the kids to run around and play. This was the perfect spot for nature, relaxation, and quality family time. We’d definitely stay here again!

This property needs some minor repairs and clean up, but we would return.

We had a wonderful time at this spacious home with a beautiful lawn, gorgeous water views, and easy access to the lake. My teenagers loved having the basement bedroom and family room to themselves, and the rest of us enjoyed the lovely deck, the rooms with water views, and the big family spaces to spread out. It was too cold to swim, but we fished and hung out by the water, explored the close by parks for beautiful waterfall hikes and mini-golf. Altogether a wonderful home and great area for a last minute spring break excursion.

We really enjoyed our couples getaway at Brown Bear Lodge. Will for sure be recommending to friends and family!

The yard is great, and to play ball with the kids and dog. Swimming was an additional bonus. It’s like your grandmothers summer house nice and cozy.

We had a great time with our family here! The kids spent lots of time down at the lake swimming off the dock. Theres a great area down by the docks with picnic tables and a gazebo as well. We also spent lots of time on the boat we rented and kept in the dock slip. We enjoyed some beautiful sunsets both from the dock and from the deck of the house! The house was very spacious with lots of room for all 8 of us and had everything we needed. We spent time in the hot tub, having fires in the backyard and on the rainy day we had, we played some of the board games that were there. We will definitely be back!

We loved staying here! Plenty of room to spread out and also come together for family meals! We loved the access to board games. The WiFi worked great! The view from the back deck was priceless and the short walk to the dock was nice! We hope to come back to this house when it’s a little warmer to make use of the beautiful lake!
